I think my family had 3 PS1s, 2 broke the last we sold cheaply lol.
No PS2 in my house has ever broken.
1 PS3 (out of 4) had broke because my brother mucked up something (I dont know what I'm no technician) and ye.

Also are PSP-3000s long-lasting? I wanna get one (and not the lame PSP-Go).

Only our PS2 ****** up, because the chip that we had did something to the laser and rendered it useless pretty much..

And then yeah...

Broke (well half broke) 1 ps1 by spilling vimto inside it, then it only read disks if we put a blank one ontop of the one that wanted to be played.

Broke 1 ps2 about a week after release by pulling it off a shelf with the controller so the dvd drive smashed inside.

ps3 has been fine though, got the yellow lights at one point but then I hit it and turned it back on and its worked since :)

Yellow lights? I swear that's an Xbox thing :P Never heard of thme before. I did half break my ps2, now it only reads certain disks, no idea why. Everything else has been fine.

My friends ps3 got the yellow light a few weeks back, it wasn't even a year old, no idea what the problem was but we managed to get his game out before he had to swap it for the replacement.

Its usually the HDD that causes the yellow light, think it was the case with mine being loose before, shuffling it around fixed my problem :)

My PS1 still works to this day.. its up in the loft though

I had a PS2, and it broke because my brother pulled it off the shelf by tripping up on the wire, so I got a new one, which is now sold to one of my mates and it still works I think

My PSP broke because I dropped it on the bathroom floor, the replacement that came had broken WiFi, so I got another one, and dropped it again and the back came off, then I bought a PSP-2000 and its been fine since :P

My PS3 is still going strong after 2 years almost... its started getting quite noisy recently though, so now I've said that, its probably gonna break :P

So yeah, every time one of my PS console has broken, its my fault, not a design fault or anything :P
