I guess you're making a Forum? If so, have something unique because forums are just boring now.

A forum needs to be unique as well, as mentioned by others.

the community. A forums there to talk to people on. If there are no interesting people and no interesting conversations, theres no reason to join :)

I know a forum isn't really appealing without a active community, so how would you recommend a new forum to go about building the community. :)

A decent skin, can't use a forum without it, even if it has a great community, i won't stick around if it's uncomfortable. COmmunity is the enxt thing i look at.

vulletin or other forums software. VB usually means that the staff is dedicated to spend that much on it. Um the theme on the site plays a big affect, must be eye catching. Active community ;)

We are still trying to make the forum unique in a way, but our main target is the community and I already thought of some great ways to bring them in.
