Coldsores are part of the herpes virus yeah and they never 100% go away no matter what you do apparently, wouldn't count them as a STD though unless you got them from getting with a warty woman or something. Never had one myself to my knowledge but you never know not all of them have obvious symptoms so might have a happy surprise coming my way

we learned about these today actually :D I've never had one but yeah guys herpes are coldsores which are type one....so if you get coldsores technically you have herpes, but not a sexually transmitted type unless you got it from oral.

one of them is from mouth to mouth contact (ie a lot of people get it during childhood from kissing - prob from ur mum ;l - once you have it you'll keep getting them). not sure if u can get it from drinking from the same cup as someone etc but it's possible. these types (coldsores) don't spread to other places just mouth i think.
then there's genital herpes which go on your mouth but i wouldn't know coz i don't do that
