When I first saw the skins (some time ago now!!) they were very different, and I think that's what's shocking about them. After using them for a while they grow on you, and you begin to like them a lot.

oh and one more grumble... the skins havent taken into account people with smaller screen resolutions, mines 1280 x 800, on a mac, using safari and i have to extend my browser size just to use the forum with out everything going on new lines and even now, the above dude's user title is under his avatar..

edit: the icons for the forums, on the homepage, and the ones for the threads are huge and thats whats making it look like its been made for blind people

Ok everything is way to wide, its making me feel fat. I need some skinny, slim skins. The users bar are tiny yet the skins are huge? doesn't look right. When i saw Fav. post i though http://www.habboxforum.com/customavatars/avatar43534_4.gif was the user bars and i was like yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees they did something right. But then i saw them :(. I think i see a youtube bb so im gunna try that. Also i hope Jamsey didnt get made tech because of these skins LOL. Also bigger emocons for your chunkyskins

On to feedback.. I think that a lot of the users in this thread are getting wayy over the top 'omg it's ruined' - it's change, ruined and change are different. I have to say the Non-Habbo Light skin was different than expected.. I think there is slightly TOO much white, but it is hardly killer lol.. liking the non-habbo dark skin - prefer it from the old one *Without the 'For all your habbo needs' bit basically :P

Userbars - what the hell lol :P I think the ones that Tom/Favourtism posted would be so much better! The bigger more 'bulky' ones - they are out of proportionate atm and I think that needs to change :) Smilies are tiny and should be bigger - yuck atm :) I like that we can now post youtube videos too.

I think that the 'log in' part is too small. I do not know about other people, but it took me like 10/15 seconds to find where to log in haha. It is very discreet and should be bigger to catch new users eyes.

In general I do not see what all the fuss is about, as if Habbox has announced all skins will be plain white with white writing? It is just new skins, that in my opinion are better. I also love that the new skins banners expand to screensize. A* change there.

EDIT: Just went on to 'Settings' the rep blocks that say if it +/-rep are slightly over the table they are in.

I don't like it at all. You can say that may be because I have used the classic forum skin since the stt of 2005, but I disagree. The mods are now bunched before the actual users viewing the thread, rather than be neatly positioned to the right like before. I agree with the fact of too much white and it's harder to navigate.

I hope the classic forum skin is uploaded soon, please please please. The new userbars also look cheaply made. I will try and get used to it.

If I am being honest, the best skin imo so far is the Site skin. The dark one eventually annoys my eyes (and when you get Migraines that isn't good..) and the light one is wayy too plain.

One thing with the site skin though is the quick reply box has no outline - not a major issue just annoying lol

What Myke means is that it now lets us double click on every thread title (even if its not ours) and it brings up the edit bit. Before we could only do that for our own threads.

you've set your postbit to left, which is why it's done that! I just disabled the option to change it on usercp so I'll change it for you.

It's too early to say I like or dislike the changes, and presumably the upgrade is partly security related. So I think we have to adjust in the same way, before I feel I can give constructive criticism of what needs altering or improving.

It's a terrible clash of oranges/greens/blues. I'm going to use the Non-Habbo Skin until the banner is sorted.

I am also missing the Favicon, this shouldn't take long and I always found it useful when it comes to looking through tabs and bookmarks.

I'd also like to see a mobile skin return ASAP :)

Good work though, I doubt I'll move back to the older skins when they return. Just sort out the minor niggles and I'm sure it'll all be great again.

The reason for the quick reply is that in the past you had to click "quick reply" once to activate it. This is vB4's take on it which I agree is somewhat a pain.

I'll take a look - although it may look wierd with the retro blue vb4 version. I meant transparent as in you can load it up in photoshop or any equivalent and easily slot your own background behind.

To be honest, I really like this new theme and vB version. Yes I love the Classic forum skin but it was in desperate need of becoming up to date, HxF has gone so long without a skin update that we are all not used to change. Unfortunately you have to hit reply -> go advanced. I'm pushing for management to let the quick reply box be up without needing a click so you only have to hit go advanced.

Vertical postbit as far as I am aware is a plugin which I don't have access to. Will need jin for that :)
