Need help from anyone thats done C2.
how do you differentiate y=3+2x / root x
do u differentiate the top part and then the bottom or do u some how take the bottom part to the top.

Separate the top so it's
y= 3/rootX + 2x/rootX
Then change rootX to x^1/2 and bring the x^1/2 up to the top of the first fraction so it becomes negative, and divide the second fraction by x^1/2 to get 2x^1/2:
y= 3x^-1/2 + 2x^1/2
From there you can differentiate.
