    Separate the top so it's

    y= 3/rootX + 2x/rootX

    Then change rootX to x^1/2 and bring the x^1/2 up to the top of the first fraction so it becomes negative, and divide the second fraction by x^1/2 to get 2x^1/2:

    y= 3x^-1/2 + 2x^1/2

    From there you can differentiate.
