Mary should wave byebye. As much as she has a decent voice..she's not got a career now..this may seem ageist..or w/e...but she's too old to be what they want...a home-grown pop star. I don't mind if Matt, 1 Direction or Cher win, but i'd be upset if Rebecca won, purely because although she does have a brilliant voice, she's too timid and I don't see her career taking off as much as one of the others would.

PLUS: Labrinth has already said he wants to collaborate with Cher.

she did have a chance of winning but no i don't think she will win now, i just hope it's not matt. However she will survive and get deals etc. You have no idea who she is because all you see of her is a saturday night and i'm sure she doesn't give a damn what you think about her singing, rapping or dancing. Yes looks play a large part, but there are MANY successful artists who aren't pretty and dont strip just to get popular. So yeah sure, they matter with those who are less talented, but those who are good can break through that with ease.

Susan Boyle had an exceptional voice. Mary's isn't that good...plus she wants to be a pop star. I'm sorry but I refuse to go with this "looks don't matter". In the world of pop music they do. It's a shame that song didn't save her, and a shame there are no other types of song like that which she could of sung, she pulled it off so well :/
