Anything that I have that I must get rid of I feel a sense of loss. It sounds really stupid today I got rid of the movie and sports channel (mam wanted to) and after I got off the phone I felt somewhat annoyed and upset not so upset as in I want to cry but it was a weird feeling.

I get this most of the time, pretty much since I lost someone close to me and now it's like this with most things. I'm not sure if I'm just greedy that I just want them to have them but surely this is not normal. With the movies and sports channels I actually didn't watch them that often so why the hell am I upset over something stupid like this?

In my head I'm asking myself why am I upset but then another part is telling me to be upset and I don't know why.

It sounds ridiculous and it's not like I want to try I just feel a sense of loss.

If I am feeling like this now what would happen if I did lose someone else close to me, I'd be pretty much ******. I need to sort my problem before anything that may happen occurs.

not sure if it's the same thing but sounds like compulsive hoarding though yours doesn't sound that bad considering you CAN let go. not sure what to suggest as ive never been in the position before or read in to it but maybe if you had a quick look on the Internet about it?

I would be lost without the sports channel expecially during Dakar and England home rugby games etc. Also I do watch Movies on 'anytime' so I feel your loss! :P

Haha no but it's not just that anything small that I have which I have to get rid of I feel a sense of loss and I don't know why. I gave my stereo which I rarely use to a friend not so long ago and about an hour afterwards I felt the same way. I never even used it so I don't know why I act like this.

Just something in your make up I guess. Nothing to worry about. When you give something away you will have this feeling. No different to when I would like to 'fridge raid' but know I have had enough to eat. Doesn't stop me from feeling hungry though.

I'm like that sometimes, I think its natural and its hard not to feel like that sometimes.

My friend is a bit like this and she has to go and speak to this person about it, apparently it helps it's some kind of mild disorder. Look more into it!
