This is actually ******* ridiculous. My account was compromised(not going to say hacked, as it wasn't). Someone had hidden an RPX token link into <img src=" " /> tags, so the internet attempted to load the image, but secretly, it added another social network to my habbo allowing them to access my account. I managed to stop any of this by reseting my email and password, and then logging in and deleteing his email & social network from my account. This happen on the 1st of July.

Anyway, a few days later I got 'Safety' banned by habbo for them to have an 'investigation'.

Yeah great, woo. By all means investigate anyone who's lost furni, reported being hacked or whatever - but my account was safe, and in my own hands. So I was pointlessly banned.

This ban was initially 24 hours, but 48 hours passed and they decided to it was going to be another 72 hours. Then a few accounts were unbanned, and a few accounts needed 'indepth investigation', they said this would take ANOTHER 2 days. So again, this now renders my ban pointless - my account was in my own hands, and I had not been ''hacked''.

Finally, they decide to unban the accounts. So I try to login, to find out they've reset my password. ******* brilliant.

So, I send my password reset to my email address, login and attempt to change my password. To no ******* avail, because there is a time stamp issue with my account?
Ive tried everything on my behalf; cleared my cache, flushed dns etc. You name it, I've tried it.

So, this is HABBO AT FAULT.


So now you're thinking, submit a support ticket? Well, I did that, and got back a ******* automated message asking for the following;


Please tell us

* The Habbo user name
* The date of birth entered when the Habbo account was registered
* The email address you used to register your Habbo account
* When you registered your Habbo account
* Your Internet Service Provider (This is the company you pay for your Internet access)
* If you have bought Credits, when and how many?
* How did you buy Habbo Credits? (SMS, credit card, prepaid cards, etc)
* Past email addresses registered on your Habbo account.
* Names of your other Habbos
* Any other information you think is important in this matter

Right ok. What has any of this got to do with the timestamp error on my account? Have they even BOTHERED to read my support ticket?

I have access to the email address, and I remember all the details. So I comply anyway, and fill all of that in - on the 12/07/2011 ... the day it was sent to me.

It is now the 18th July 2011, and I'm STILL getting the same ******* error.
My support tickets have NOT been replied to, nor closed. And I still can not reset my ******* password.

What more can I do? I've got support tickets outstanding from 10 days ago, and 6 days ago - with nothing happening about my account.

I've got friends on that account, VIP and credits etc. Obviously this is ******* irritating me, as it's an account I've had since 2005 - Never had a problem with it until now, and I'm still waiting for it to be sorted.


Can anyone advise me what to do now?

Took Habbo 15 days to reply to my account being deleted in the merge and me losing 60t :/
All they replied with was "Sorry i can't give you a compensation for your loss"

The message that asks you for all the account details always gets sent automatically when you put the category as account problem or whatever it is, its just to prove that it's actually your account so they don't give the wrong person any information.

Unlucky that you still haven't got it back though!

No. Not really.
The initial support ticket was to do with the safety ban, and they finally replied to that one!


We've found purchases via SMS under your account back in Habbo UK. Please provide us the number(s) that was used, so that we can verify that you own the account.

These purchases are from 2005-2008, Hoping I still had the same number(can't for the life of me remember).

But, this was 2 days ago, and now nothing . . . again.


The annoying thing is, my account is unbanned - but I can't reset the password due to the frigging timestamp error?

Also, how much information do they want for my account?! Email, habbo names, habbo friends, credit purchases(from years ago), mobile number used etc.

I've not got any idea what to suggest really, it's a joke that they're asking for this much information though. I don't see how you would remember the phone numbers from when you bought credits so many years ago. You should maybe try and ring them up and see what's going on and hopefully your account will be sorted.

I've got my fingers crossed for you t0m! :P

None of them verified the information correct, just that one of them asked for another form of verification.

If I was asked what number I used on Habbo UK I'd be ****** :L

But if the information wasn't correct, they wouldn't ask for any more(ie the mobile number I used).

Either way, I'm gonna call them up soon.

yep they took my habbo id then permed my acc and are refusing to give me my habbo id back and saying i hacked someone... i asked for proof and they said i had an item which i traded nothing for - an infobus which i traded 110 goldbars for :S

i got some noob called doreen whos sending me automatic replies, its been about a month now with over 20 emails sent back and forth and i've tried calling, no answer

I have noticed with habbo, if you are trading to many gold bars it is known as your hacking hence you was banned, if you get your account back then trade bits of furni with it, it does not flash on their screens then m8

so i'm a hacker because i've got over 100 goldbars? goldbars which i earned through bets or trading? :S

Accoring to habbo thats what they think if your trading loads of gold-bars. Its pathetic in my eyes but its the way they work, stupid ;/

Please provide an alternative Habbo ID (or Habbo name attached to an ID you use), so that we may revert the account back to you. If you do not have one yet, you must create it first:

- on the Habbo page (http://www.habbo.com) click on Join now for Free
- fill up the necessary information (email address,password and birth date) and click next
- choose a Habbo name, choose an avatar, type the security code, check accept Terms of Service, click Done take me to Habbo
- don't forget to go to your email and activate your account

Finally.

Although, this wasn't the solution I was looking for, I'll just be glad to have my account back.

I still can't believe one staff member told me my credentials were correct, and another said they were false lol!

Sorry for the double post.

Ok, the account will be transferred to another ID that I have provided, which still allows me to have my account back. But what was the issue with my account in the first place? The whole timestamp error and what not? Surely it would have easier and quicker just to reset that for me?

This issue is not solved, why did you close it?

I got no reply, and they just closed the ticket.

How can one staff member tell me my account information etc were correct, and another said they were false?

Also, does anyone know where the 'Custom Support' are based? Are they UK, SG, US etc?
As the majority of replies I get are early morning.

As you can see, Nikita confirmed my security details were correct(email, date of birth, habbo names, credit purchases, mobile number, kitchen sink), so all well and good, thought I'd click the link she sent me and reset my password.

Seriously? I've waited 28 days to get my account back,

First, I get banned for a reason that didn't concern me(safety ban due to hackings, the first of july, it's now the 2nd of august).
Second, I couldn't reset my password due to a timestamp error.
Third, I had one ***** telling me my security details were correct, and another telling me they were incorrect.
Fourth, She tells me she'll revert my account, 7 days ago.
Fifth, I come to set a new password, after the stupid ***** told me my details were correct, only to find out the habbo system decides to tell me they were incorrect.

What an absolute ******* joke.
