I'm going to watch the first few episodes and see how it goes, if I like it from there I guess I'll keep watching! I'm not sure on if I'll like Tulisa, I used to like her when she was in N-Dubz but they got a bit too chav like for my taste.

That first guy (Frankie I think?) was annoying and couldn't sing and was too full of himself. The woman from Hong Kong was quite funny and I hope she stays in for a while. I think the Irish girl seems too timid and shy for it and probably won't really be able to handle it. The last guy was hilar, shame the sky went off just after that other girl came on stage so I missed it :'( I love Tulisa but it really seems like she's trying to act like Kelly Rowland. Gary Barlow seems like he's trying too hard to be like Simon, sits similar to how Simon did too... That blonde girl is really annoying, way too cocky for my liking.

I don't find that funny at all, fair do's he shouted at Telisa, but I have a pretty solid feeling ITV is discriminating, the guy clearly has mental problems and they let him on the show most definitely "For the Lolz"

Is it just me or did anyone else get bored? The show went on for like an 1hr and 30 mins, but yet we saw about 5 people singing? The rest seemed to be padded out with adverts.

Atleast they haven't gone overboard with autotune like they did last year, that was really obvious on the first show (which then got them loads of complaints)

I don't know what to think. I don't think its really the same without simon :( Thought the talent was lacking as well. Best was probably Janet but she just annoyed me. I agree, way too bubbly though. Confidence is important but when you have too much someone needs to give you a backhand slap. Over confident, as in arrogant and cocky, negative qualities. The "over" implies that the person in question is too confident in their abilities, when they don't have the talent or experience to back it up. Nothing wrong with confidence at all, you need it, but there is a limit.

It was good though, but she reminds me of Diana Vickers a bit, and everyone loved her at first then she just kind of faded out and was overshadowed by other people. Maybe this will be different but there's only been one show so no one can say who is going to win yet.

X-Factor artists tend to fade. I think it was an absolute travesty. They did say there was going to be a huge twist. I hope there is a huge public backlash as she is most definitely a potential star whilst Janet is sweet but most probably one dimensional.

Cba reading the whole thread but I'm annoyed/disappointed by the live show 16. Whilst in the over 25's Sami is now through, the fact that Louis even chose Goldie in the first place is really annoying.

But then to me the auditions are for the stupid ones. I usually only watch the auditions simply due to that, to see the people who think they are brilliant but are really tone death make a fool out of themselves to a big audience, judges and to the nation on TV.

The ones that do get through should get through because they can sing. Yeah I understand its obviously for entertainment purposes, but then like I said I'm sure Simon was annoyed when the online thing to make Wagner happened. While obviously he liked it being talked about I think he wanted to change the show - I think that's why we had the surprise Twist so that the really bad ones would be forced out (although it didn't fully work).

My point is that a lot of people hate the x factor because of this. It doesn't give real musicians a chance. One of my favourite artists, who I've had the pleasure to work with; David Ford, plays multiple instruments live. Using a looping pedal he can play one instrument, and it gets recorded and played back, and he can keep adding stuff. He's really talented, writes, plays his own stuff etc. The X Factor is the complete opposite to me, and doesn't represent real artists.

I have yet to hear him hit any notes nor have I yet to hear him hold a note for more than a second. Furthermore, its completely evident that Gary only put him through because he expected him to get all the teenage girl votes. Yeah which is good to a certain degree. The problem comes when certain people want try to spoil it for Simon by trying to make the crap singer win. While Simon and Syco might have loved the publicity wagner gave and the entertainment factor, he certainly didn't want him to win, remember the winner gets a record contract, while the others do to, the winner I believe gets more.

The people voting, well at least the majority of people voting for Wagner, would never in a million years buy his album,singles etc. That was the key point, people where trying to make him win, so that they'd release crap songs from a crap singer and in the end run Simon would loose money.

What Simon needs to ask is why they did it. Because Simon could make the show so much more respected. I know quite a few artists and big and small, the majority of people detest the x factor. This shouldn't be seen as a good thing. Why can't Simon make the x factor more, make real artists instead of manufactured. My key point is if he doesn't, who's to stop another Wagner incident. Like I said, if Goldie had got through, Louie probably would have kept her, and then the people behind the Wagner campaign would have a new person to do the same, and this time it could have succeeded.

Agreed, that was out of order. Fair enough if he didn't like the performance - neither did I - but that was just plain rude and frankly, rather insulting. She looked pretty shocked and upset by the way he spoke to her. He seems to be trying to adopt the whole "Mr Nasty" that Simon was known for but is seriously failing miserably. Simon was Mr Nasty but he never spoke to contestants like that from what I remember. I don't know why he thinks he has to mimics Simon's judging style, it's quite sad. He wasn't like that in the auditions so I don't quite understand why he's been such an arse during the live shows.

Rhythmix were really good this week once again. I agree about the comments from Kelly and Gary that Ke$ha's "TiK ToK" was a bit of cheat as it's hardly a rock song. That being said, I don't like Rock Week at all, it's probably my least favourite on X Factor

Frankie's audition and boot camp songs where pretty good in my opinion, but he seems to just do whatever he wants and abuse the chance he's got to change his life. I really hope he doesn't win as he doesn't deserve it!

I agree, I think the judges should work together or maybe one week they get one set (for example, groups) and then another week they'll get another set and so on throughout the show. I don't know to be honest!

As you've stated though, this show is for an audience and the arguments probably make it that little bit better. :P

I think Louie just wants to bring entertainment to the table but somewhere along the many series of X Factor has forgotten that the X Factor still is a singing competition. The entertaining factor might help with live shows but when it comes to actually selling records, Johnny, Goldie, they'd be dropped almost instantly.

I meant that I prefered her when she first auditioned, I don't like that they are trying to change Janets look, but shes still a great singer. Its good that shes becoming more confident though

Micha's "bullying" shouldn't be considered, and neither should Frankie's charm and rapscallionery. If he's staying in because of his behaviour, so should Micha, not nearly voted out

I kind of despise the show at times but still watch it but I really get sick of the its rigged every time. I'm sure its monitored although I wouldn't be surprised if they tried. But like some of the judges looked honestly shocked at times when people they didn't expect to get into the bottom got in. I just think if someone someone likes goes they often seem to use the rigged thing.

I do like Janet she is a favourite for me although there where some mistakes on Saturday. My problem is that, the x factor is billed as a music competition and it isn't just for pop singers really. Maybe people like Kitty and Sophie don't want to the be the average type of pop star we always see.

Woo, I love all those guest performers! I'd love too see Pixie Lott on there, but that's just because I love her. I used to like Frankie (when he auditioned and in boot camp when he sang Iris) but he's gone down hill since. He's got an awful attitude towards the whole show and he really doesn't deserve the chance being there.

I think his Halloween performance was the best of the live shows for Frankie, but I still wasn't keen. God knows who's voting for him! :P

Well, I just feel that those who have stayed, and left, aren't of public opinion, more who the producers believe to be worth keeping, to stir it up or to maximise viewing potential...
