Hey all, I'm thinking about getting an Ipad 3, I'm not that knowledgeable in this area, hence me asking here, if I were to purchase the 64gb one, would I somehow be able to attach it to an external hard drive so that I can load films off of it? Also, I could either flush out the £600 on this, or buy an Mac Book Pro, but it's obviously significantly more expensive, is it worth the difference in price? Thanks a lot!

You can't attach an external hard-drive to The new iPad. But 64GB is plenty for a few films.

Depends would you rather have a tablet or a laptop. Bit obvious the laptop would have more of a function and you can attach an external hard drive to that.

If you have to ask wether you should buy a MacBook Pro or an iPad, you don't need either of them.

Both of them do totally different things and you'd be a total fool to blindly buy a MacBook without even considering the competition.

Firstly

You can't attach it to an external HDD but 64 GB is plenty of space to store movies :)

Secondly

As Recursion said these are completely different devices you question is as good as saying "Should I buy a push bike or a car".

I've had my iPad 2 for around a 8 months now and it currently sits in the top draw next to my bed :), However if I had an Mac Book Pro, I would use it every day. So it depends what you would want it for.

Anyway I hope that helps you with your decision :)

I have the 32g iPad 2 and I have the whole season 10 family guy, season 5 jersey shore, hangover 1+2 and the dark knight and music with around 10gb to spare.. I'm sure 64GB is enough!
