    Default Ipad 3.. (+19rep)

Hey all, I'm thinking about getting an Ipad 3, I'm not that knowledgeable in this area, hence me asking here, if I were to purchase the 64gb one, would I somehow be able to attach it to an external hard drive so that I can load films off of it? Also, I could either flush out the £600 on this, or buy an Mac Book Pro, but it's obviously significantly more expensive, is it worth the difference in price? Thanks a lot!

You can't attach an external hard-drive to The new iPad. But 64GB is plenty for a few films.

Depends would you rather have a tablet or a laptop. Bit obvious the laptop would have more of a function and you can attach an external hard drive to that.

If you have to ask wether you should buy a MacBook Pro or an iPad, you don't need either of them.

Both of them do totally different things and you'd be a total fool to blindly buy a MacBook without even considering the competition.

    Firstly

You can't attach it to an external HDD but 64 GB is plenty of space to store movies

    Secondly

As Recursion said these are completely different devices you question is as good as saying "Should I buy a push bike or a car".

I've had my iPad 2 for around a 8 months now and it currently sits in the top draw next to my bed , However if I had an Mac Book Pro, I would use it every day. So it depends what you would want it for.

Anyway I hope that helps you with your decision

I have the 32g iPad 2 and I have the whole season 10 family guy, season 5 jersey shore, hangover 1+2 and the dark knight and music with around 10gb to spare.. I'm sure 64GB is enough!
