I think it's important to want to loose weight first because if you're not committed to doing it you'll find yourself ''slipping up''. Also trying to figure out where your bad habits are and then changing them where you can.

just think of the outcome of your body when you finally lose the weight you've been wanting to lose. eat very healthy foods & exercise. 2 summers ago i lost 10 pounds alone by just cutting out some junk food and doing summer activities such as swimming, biking, walking.
good luck xo

all you have to do is not eat chocolate, crisps, biscuits and all the other foods like this. it'll soon come off but you have to be patient

You need a motto. The better one is Mind over Matter. (I even think it was used in Twilight but that doesn't need to be told to anyone. xD)
Basicly if you don't usually eat that most junk food, it will be even more difficult to lose weight, because people that do eat it, just need to stop eating those and will lose some pounds as soon as they do. If you don't then you really need to exercise and what works for me (and I warn you, this will be an awful advise if you don't do it already) is smoking. Whenever I was bored, I used to go get a snack. Now I smoke, so I might die young, but at least I'll die skinny? LOL I'm horrible I know. Sorry. :(
A lot of people don't exercise enough. Losing weight for me is easy with proper diet and exercise... Will power has a lot to do with it

Losing weight is hard but gaining is very easy and it`s always been like that. Just try and eat less junk food aka fat foods. If you want to lose you will need to start eating healthy food. You can treat yourself once in a while but limited. I was 160 pounds 2 years ago and I didn`t like that but I said to myself I can do it and I went down to 130 pounds which I lost 30 pounds. I didn`t lose it in one shot but gradually fell and I am happy.
Just do what`s best for you.

stick your finger down your throat and throw up.
Seriously though, if you start exercising and eating better you'll lose weight.

Eat well, sleep well, good routine then..
Run :) Then build up muscle, as muscle needs more energy ie more calories burnt.

If you actually want muscle then yea good exercise and good diet is by far the best way.
Problem is when you are like me and already eat no junk at all but want to lose weight but despise the thought of having muscle, then its challenging, I just had to limit my amount of food severely to lose the weight I lost ;l

Just run.
You will gain some muscle, but nothing drastic.

I've lost all the weight I want anyway now luckily ha ha. But yea running wouldn't suit me anyway cause I overheat very quick and have natural aversion to sunlight tbh.

It sounds silly maybe but just run every day and don't each junk food. I used to be quite chubby but started to run twice a day and do maybe 50 sit ups a day and in about half a year I was super skinny!

Why would running sound silly? :L

I think people underestimate how quickly you can loose weight just by running that's all haha :P
If it's too hard you're not trying hard enough.
Harsh but fair.
Re: running. My friend lost 2 stone in a month just by running every day. If it gets too easy buy a weight, put it in a bag, put the bag on and run - army drills.

If it were easy then everyone would have the body of a god. Try and find a 'buddy' to lose weight with, you'll probably be more motivated that way.

Laziness. That's the only obstacle that stops this from happening. Being lazy isn't a detriment, by the way.

I get what you mean now :P
Laughable if you are right though - would have thought it was somewhat obvious!

I agree a lot of it is laziness... strong will power helps a bunch too. To be honest though I've never really been fat (well I am like 14 stone 2lbs now :P)

interested in the running actually, but how much can you do before you start to gain muscle, + wouldn't it be awfully hard to fit around exams college and gaming? :(

cut out gaming might help, no need to fit it around ;)
Running, swimming everything good yeah, will power/effort goes a long way.

I agree laziness stops most of us from actually physically trying to lose weight and then leaves us wondering where we went wrong.
