I do not think it is the job of the moderation department to determine what threads are good or bad. It's always made no sense to me how people forget that ultimately, threads die. Threads have a limited life span so to complain about them is a waste of time. Keep posting good threads and they'll be gathering dust on page 2 before you know it.

quality is important on an online teenage forum where u can discuss essentially everything lmao NO some people are just here to discuss and make friends so quality doesn't matter, it's not a professional site to discuss professional things???
ps look at your own threads i literally skip over them cause they're so yawn worthy. you rarely get people replying to yours ie your forum statistic posts i mean people were more interested in your "is it sunny in your area" posts compared to your others... we like to post in what we like whether u think its quality or not

They probably don't promote it due to many probably being in spam as the top posters includes spam posts for some reason, but then again Skandair doesn't post in spam as much so you might expect them to create discussion more.

Anyway, I'm not really fussed what threads we have - I noticed him creating odd thread, but I didn't see the scale of it or anything, some of them are a bit on the edge with the letter one not being moved to spam or anything, but it got a lot of replies.

In all seriousness, the only people on HxF who would choose V7 over an awesome forum are staff.. the community - which is essentially the forum and nothing else - care about the forum. V7 is a bigger joke than V6 to be honest.

The only reason people didn't like the non-post count forum was because it stopped them getting some easy post count. That is the ONLY reason - what is the point in a forum which people go on to get a bigger number, without any real care about what they are actually posting? It simply defies the point in the forum. To be honest, I wouldn't be too bothered if you moved them all to a forum WITH post count - just keep all the ******** away from the genuine content so I don't have to filter through crap.

Let's say Skandair made 10-15 "pointless" threads (under your opinion) and someone posts in each of them. They only gain a maximum of 75 tokens (give or take) which is hardly the end of the universe considering the cheapest item in the shop is 2000 tokens. Post count increases by 15 wow.

What is the massive concern over post count, if suddenly people start taking 1/2 years to reach God status we have an issue - but the top 20 posters on the forum have remained largely the same for quite some time and these so called "pointless threads" have been around a fair while...

Chris gave in on that one. The threads resurged in popularity when the restrictions were removed. Interestingly enough posting activity improved only for one week after. So clearly people found alternate (And more interesting) threads to post in.

Well my common sense dictates that Post What you're listening to, PAPOY, post a random image, what did you just eat, etc. SHOULD ALL BE MOVED TO SPAM because they feature less discussion than a "POINTLESS" thread about cocopops and in fact ACTIVELY DISCOURAGE ACTIVE DISCUSSION IN CLEAR VIOLATION OF FORUM RULES.

That's common sense.
Actually they don't, because people are less likely to be lying when they said what they last ate, what they lasted listened to. Plus, PAPOY gets a post of discussion from when I last checked it (which was a while ago).

People are trying to argue that a thread about counting coco pops in your bowl, where people are just making it up, has a point.

It doesn't have to be every person, even if one song was listened to by somebody else then that thread had a purpose.

If at least one of you fools counted your coco pops then get that thread moved back to discuss anything, but I would be surprised if even you would stoop that low and count your coco pops lol...
