How do you deal with stress?
I am very bad I end up getting panic attacks which are horrible. Does anyone else get them and how do you deal with them?

if i have a lot to think about, i write all my problems down and at the side how i can solve them, i always find if i write things down i've took them out of my head (not sure how that works haha) often most of your problems can be fixed quiet easily
never ignor problems because that will just make stress worse
also remember 'there's no point in worrying over things beyond your control'
when i had a lot on once i told myself i would have a day off from worrying about them, that actually helped a lot
Usually keep it inside till I end up hitting someone or breaking something :P
Tbh though I think I deal with stress quite well but that's because I always have to be doing something consistantly.
Jager is good for forgetting your problems though :P
chill
do something to get it off my mind
try to ease pressure by getting work done or started in advance so it wont all pile up and need to be done at once

normally I punch or bite stuff
if it's really bad speak to a therapist, if not listen to music or distract yourself with something
you have nothing to be stressed about
I write everything down in a stress journal. Like what's your stress, what caused it, how you felt and how to solve it. When the stress is building up and can't handle it, I'd just go to sleep but obv that doesn't make the problem go away.
If you're too stressed, take some time to relax, take a stroll, a cold shower, or watch a movie or anything that you enjoy doing
Always focus on the positive, stay optimistic

Tbh i really don't deal with stress very well at all. Most of the time I just have a breakdown after a bit of it and that makes me feel better, but a talk to someone who actually cares always helps me. I actually find just doing some extra work really helps me take my mind off it too oddly enough

Set aside like an hour or something where you can just do something which can help you relax like reading a book or listening to music. Something you can do without thinking about it and without feeling like you need to be somewhere else or doing something else.

was gonna say have a **** but saw girl posted so sorry
Panic attacks can be a *****.. especially if you're getting them often because they'll try their hardest to get in the way of you dealing with your stress and just become something else to stress about and fear
if they get really bad then last resort would probs be to go see a doctor and if your docs nice enough then they'll prescribe you some benzos for emergency usagez but most gps are told benzos are nonos unless necessary

Always think about how positive you're going to feel after whatever it is that's stressing you out is out of the way!

I can never work out whether or not i'm stressed, but doing the garden for example certainly relaxes me.
Maybe doing something like cleaning a bathroom or mowing the lawn will calm you?

stress comes from your perceived stressors outweighing your perceived ability to cope
just relax and believe in yourself

I have a lot of trouble with coping with stress, especially with exams and social situations and I quite often get panic attacks. Too deal with them I usually breathe deeply or start cracking my knuckles, which usually annoys everyone but idgaf
Listening to calming music helps to! If I'm shopping I usually have one headphone in if I'm with friends or if I'm on my own I have both in because it makes me disconnect from how crowded the place is and the anxiety of being around people :')

I obsessively clean my room when I'm really stressed. Do you actually clean your bathroom to relax yourself?!

He actually enjoys cleaning his bathroom? Each to their own I suppose. I find cleaning my room and organising stuff quite therapeutic so I can't judge really!

Kinda like you here. Not always my room but my DVD section. I'll set up different orders when I'm worrying or need to occupy myself, so one day it'll be arranged in favourite movies, genres, rating and alphabetical order (reading that back, it sounds really lame). Right now it's a mess because everyone moves them in spite to annoy me.
I'm not great at dealing with stress at all and sometimes it's lead to panic attacks (saying that, I avoid places I believe I'll panic so I don't have them all that often, usually at night when I'm struggling to sleep and everything just falls in my mind and I feel as if I can't breathe kk moving on)
To calm myself I usually watch movies (or clips from my favourite movies to save time) to try and relax me. I'll try watching something that's not a comedy though because that usually makes me feel overwhelmed and there's a flood of emotions which, before, made things worse.
I'll also go downstairs and go on our exercise bike and do some exercise to try cheering myself up as usually I'll feel a tiny bit better after.
Going on walks / jogs have also proved good for me recently because it allows me to have time to think and if I do feel a little bit stressed / panicky then there's always an escape. Usually when I've had panic attacks it's been because I've had no escape of the situation. Same with my anxiety, if I can't get out of the place that's bothering me, it'll get a hell of a lot worse. Like I've avoided so many things like prom and my friends parties bc I'm worried about ruining all of their nights (and mine)
