I am on o2 at the min but the 3G connection isnt very good

I've never had EE actually fully go down since I started with Orange 10 years ago (give or take...)

o2 are excellent for network, for customer service it is Tesco Mobile followed by o2 in my eyes.


Just remember it's down to where you live and personal preference. Why not have a look online at the map of network coverage for each provider in your area?

This. It depends on your area. For me I find that O2 works very well for me in London. 3 on the other hand often gets no service in my area, but I've heard otherwise from people on the other side of London so yeah, it really does depend on where you are. But O2 does also have great customer service imo :).

I guess it depends on your location really and where you travel on a regular basis. I am with O2 and never really have any problems with 3G in the area I live in.

I used to use Vodafone and thats okay...
but I use Giffgaff now and I think thats pretty good tbh

Depends largely on location. I use GiffGaff (runs on O2 network) and I rarely get 3G down here - only for a few sec in certain parts of the closest town. My network isn't poor though, say it's quite good considering I live in a tiny village.

EE is okay, their service has gotten worse since the merge of T-Mob and Orange however when my iPhone 5 broke they sent out a replacement the next day

I wouldn't rate Tesco's customer service myself, and this is coming from an ex member of staff (not in the phone division mind).

I've had big problems with my phone on Tesco, which uses o2's network and my dad has had problems with o2. Basically really bad signal coverage especially at my home.

It started a little small. When I worked for Tesco I regularly walked home and found that once the phone was back on I'd get all the messages that had been sent while I was working when I got home, 30 minutes later. However it got worse with my signal dropping 99 percent of the time especially when at home although my mam who was with orange never had any issues. I had to often ring my girlfriend about 5 times as the signal would keep going up and down and losing the network all the time. My dad often had to go into the bathroom to make a call.

Eventually I phoned them hoping I could leave my contract a little early because of the problems as I needed my phone for work but they told me of a recent mast issue and ignored the fact that my problem wasn't recent but a long time issue that had been occurring for months.

My contract has just ended and went onto a monthly rolling contract so I got a new one out with Vodafone after checking signal coverage online. When I phoned Tesco up the lady who answered was adamant that I didn't leave. Obviously I know it's their job to try and persuade people to stay but I feel the way she did this was very unprofessional as she kept telling me I'd made a mistake which kind of made me think she was trying to make me feel stupid. This went on for a while when it was obvious I wasn't going to stay.

From what I've experienced with Tesco they will try and deny the problem and won't really help you out.

Check out the coverage maps. Entirely depends where you live - I cannot get signal at all in half of my house.

I like Tesco Mobile (which run on 02's network), same service you get from 02 but better customer service and a cheaper price!

I think EE works fine for where I live.

Considering I've only tried out 2, EE and Vodaphone, I would say EE was the better.

Though, I only had one issue with Vodaphone when it went down for a few hours.

Vodafone is terrible don't know why I'm still with them so many issues - however EE seems to be very good everyone else in my house has EE!!!
