Hello Habbox!
As some of you may or may not know. A few weeks back I done a Cadburys Machine as one of my first pixel art thing. I did say it needed improving. As well .... look for yourself.

Luckily you guys where there to tell me what I need to improve etc.
One of my main things I personally wanted to improve on is the shading as FYI I am rubbish at it. However I took a shot at it. Furthermore made edits.

The shading isn't the best but i'll leave it up to you guys whether It is at least better shading than my last one.
There are still things I wanted to improve on this like the writing I wanted to try do it so it looks like its slanting some way as the actual machine but I was finding it difficult.
Comments are appreciated. Please do tell me what I can improve on.
Thanks :)

Ye I love the new version!
The panel on the front looks really nicely done, really glad you decided to add that.
And it's really good for one of your first pieces...

Few points:

Red circle - this is an odd way to shade on this item. It's inconsistent with the rest of the shading. I would advise you have the entirety of the top of it the same shade, or adjust the shading on the rest of the object... :P

Buttons - The buttons shouldn't be one pixel, you have enough room for 2 px (ive adjusted it in the image up there) and it does make it look a lot better.

The bottom rectangle part.. IDK - I've changed it by making it clear that its 3D... unless it was intended to be one that you have to pull down to open (in which case it needed a handle of some kind) :P

OH and the top right is very blocky. Common issue, all you'd have to do is try and adjust the lines leading up to that square so that you end up with something like:

:)

For a first/second piece it's good though, I've seen worse.

If i could just make 200 spelling mistakes in my message that'd be greatttt

Definitely a big improvement from your first attempt, well done :)

If you want the text to be slanting, transform it on Photoshop by skewing.

I'm impressed. Keep up the good work. :) Maybe send it into Sulake and be like, "Give me Cadbury, or Give me death!" :)
I'll riot with you until it gets into the hotel. haha!

Like I mentioned in the other thread, grab the cadbury logo and skew it using this tutorial.

Skewed the text so now I have it how I want.
I was going to make the front look more plastic/metallic but I think I will leave it how it is for now.
I will go on to something else and do that and take with me all the feedback so hopefully it will be a one thread type of thing ;]
Thanks to everyone for the feedback! :D

This is really good for your first alteration and I like how you took in consideration what everyone has said. There's not really anything left to fault about it either. Good job :)

don't be afraid to borrow from already existing furniture if it improves the look of your own work. make a very quick edit to show how putting that mantra into practise can pay off:

(this is from moodi machine)
now the slot is big enough for a hand to enter without being cut off
use habbos and other furnitures for scale all the time and keep refining, you are doing great. not entirely sure on the top of machine, looks a little weird and sides don't appear to connect as well as they could. can't pinpoint exactly but worth looking into to improve.

Hey there,

Alterations can be made by anyone - they aren't necessarily created for the use by Habbo themselves.
I'm sure Habbo staff are always open to taking ideas for appropriate furni, though. So if you had anything in mind you could always make the suggestion to them. :)

Good work, you may need to refine the corners a little bit more.

But other than that, good job!
