We reuse them anyway, we also had them in junior school for years.

no, we use them for big bbqs/parties etc as we dont have enough normal cutlery for that, and I would usually reuse them.

The little white ones I wouldn't even bother buying because they're useless, the only thing that actually works is the spoon and he knives and forks just bend or snap. We have some slightly more luxurious blue plastic cutlery which is quite chunky which we do use and rewash a lot of the time, these ones are good for eating yoghurts and buttering toast etc

I don't think anyone uses plastic cutlery as a replacement to metal cutlery

people use plastic cutlery under circumstances where they're feeding a large amount of guests or the cutlery could be stolen

Nope, I recycle if it's the right plastic or just eat with fingers or real cutlery. I don't buy into this conspiracy theory / militant hippy rubbish.

I find it a great thing that mankind has developed all of these methods just to produce a spoon.

It reminds me of Milton Friedman explaining how a pencil is made, the wonders of the free market.

Yeah basically what he said. We use both normal cutlery and the plastic ones regularly enough and they're handy for lunches and that's when I mostly use them as they're not clunky and ****.

This is pretty stupid. Has nobody ever heard of recycling haha? It's kinda big now...I'm sure the used fork could go off and be 95% of a new fork in some other factory :)

I don't remember the last time I used plastic cutlery. You can always recycle it though.

If you eat a curry or something with a plastic fork it stains the fork or whatever and looks horrible. U throw away plastic utensils :/
