I think our group is hardest to call; the Italians are all ancient, Uruguay have a couple of important injuries and don't play together in leagues, England just seem to enjoy failing to perform, and any of these flaws could make or break the group with Costa Rica pretty likely to go bottom but able to mess it up for anyone who's not concentrating

- Sterling was MOTM by a country mile, with Italy having no real stand out player to equal him;

- Best defensive performance I've seen comes from Phil Jagielka, saved a goal on the line and was solid for the majority of the game;

You can be right because this was our first game and now we'll know better what to expect and everything, but the way we're acting so stupid like if he hadn't gone to piss off the other one, he wouldn't have been expelled! And yeah the game as a whole was one of the worst of the competition but that's often the way with finals (2010's was unbearable) but I thought group games and early knockout were brilliant this time around for the most part
