Genuinely think it's the most open it has ever been, so many of the traditionally weaker teams with incredible squads and there could be some really impressive upsets. Obviously would LIKE to see England do it but let's not be silly about that when you have teams like Spain who can afford to leave the likes of Navas and Negredo at home and not flinch

I don't watch any soccer whatsoever but I always seem to watch the world cup and this year will be no different! I'm looking really forward to it strangely enough! Ireland aren't in it and even if they were they wouldn't do a whole lot. I'd like to see Argentina win it, I like playing with them on Fifa lalala

2 yrs ago we had this comp in school where everybody is given a card and whoever wins the world cup gets a prize. i got spain and everyone was like ew no chance will it win and yeah i did win but didn't get my prize
