Hi,
I was wondering, since I've seen the kind of movies you guys like, i wanted to know the reason behind that!
I can't really arrange them from top to bottom, but here's some of them:
1. Natural Born Killers (I love the lighting effects and the projector effects, also the music and the iconic characters)
2. Taxi Driver (I love the iconic character as well, and the music, photography and all of it XD)
3. Pulp Fiction (Also, iconic, music, and the whole thing just came up really good, I love the 70s style they were looking for.)
4.Enter the VOID ( I love the effects of the lights and colors, also the photography is crazy)
There's much more movies like Fight Club, Scarface, Fear and Loathing in las Vegas. but whatever
What about you guys??

1. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
2. All About Lily Chou-Chou
3. Oldboy
4. Kikujiro
5. This is England
Honorable mentions: Leon, Nightcrawler, American Beauty, Millennium Actress, Tokyo Sonata, Into the Wild, Seven Samurai, Schindler's List and Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter... and Spring.
The top two are constantly alternating, but I'm on Hobbit hype at the moment so I'll give it to Middle Earth today. The Fellowship is just a perfect film to me (and ironically the only one I didn't see at the cinema). It introduces Tolkien's wonders so flawlessly and I adore the chemistry between the Fellowship before the company get separated and the cast is expanded. I love Lily Chou-Chou for its atmosphere and Shunji Iwai's masterful, unique direction. I can't knock it, and Oldboy, Kikujiro and This is England are just great, great films.

When Harry Met Sally - seriously this is one of my favourite films of all time and i am NOT a romance person normally
Howl's Moving Castle - read the book before even hearing about the movie and it was one of my favourites. Heard there was a movie and wasn't expecting much but it was just. so. beautiful omg
Nativity! - cheers me up whenever I'm in a sad mood. Don't care that it's not always Christmas.
The Dark Knight - thrilling, love every part of it and think Christian Bale makes a fantastic batman. just a shame about the other two films in that trilogy..
The Holiday - another Christmas classic. Brings good memories as my mum and I once stayed up until 1:30am to finish watching this film. That was just a really lovely night.
Up - gets me every time.
Probably more but i can't remember
the shining
pulp fiction
misery
the machinist
batman the dark knight
the silence of the lambs
cba to go into detail why i like them but most of the films i love are quite dark/violent #emo
my favourite films are always changing. it depends on my mood at the time really lol
- the last seduction (rly like noir/neo noir)
- rust and bone
- short term 12
- american beauty
- drive (nicolas winding refn. is just insanely good)
i wouldn't even say these are my favourites or anything. they're what i can think of at the moment and i think they're all fantastic.

Nightcrawler is probably my favourite from 2014; absolutely loved it. Jake Gyllenhaal is fantastic.

Space Jam because it is just non stop entertainment and has an incredible soundtrack, if you don't like it you are wrong
Girl, Interrupted for being a beautiful narrative with the lovely Ms Ryder playing a stunning role as always
Fantastic Planet for the perfect visuals and total otherworldly charm
Fritz The Cat for being downright nasty
Gone With The Wind because it's so beautiful and despite being totally racist and ignorant of the actual situation has some wonderful dialogue and character growth
Kevin and Perry Go Large because it's absolute genius and all I wanna do is do it
Yeahhh tend to not really care about modern cinema that much it all seems to just be explosions and overacting with lots of scenes in the dark because that's obv the only way to create atmosphere (hi Dark Knight most overrated film in history)

(hi Dark Knight most overrated film in history)
no what Dark Knight was great. Just the other two in the trilogy ruined it. Basically Batman Begins = the one before The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises = sequel to The Dark Knight that was a disappointment because Heath Ledger obv couldn't be in it).
Just looking at the single film The Dark Knight alone though, it was fantastic. The Joker is by far the most thrilling villain and Heath Ledger really brought across the fact he was evil because he was evil. The thing that made him so terrifying was the fact he blew up a hospital simply because he could. I don't wanna quote it but I have to: "Some people just want to watch the world burn" has never been truer.
There are few films that leave me in a stunned silence after they finish but The Dark Knight was one of them.
Each to their own though. If u don't like it that's ok but I would disagree that it's overrated.

Haven't seen the other ones, I just found it really boring and it doesn't help that Batman is prob the worst superhero ever I mean his superpower is being rich

Duh, money is the best superpower out there. At least he has a proper disguise. Superman just puts on a pair of glasses and all of a sudden no1 recognises him...
not all superheroes need superpowers and that's why he's so brill, he doesn't need to rely on them

but as shown in TDKR he falls to pieces when he loses all him money so
he does need to rely on something :'(

Superhero without a superpower is just a decent chap at best and a careless vigilante at worst
