To me Habbo is just a game, a website I log into and make rooms when I'm bored and speak to people I've met online.
However, the customer service I've faced whilst being a user is terrible.
I recently went into a trade room on Habbo and asked if anyone was buying Thrones for credits, and a user agreed. I sold some thrones for 20 X Gold Bars,
used the trade tool as you normally would. A few days later I logged into Habbo tried to trade and couldn't I had been given a PERM trade ban.
Obviously I contacted Customer Services through the Help Tool and explained the situation, first of all I was sent a shoddy automated message which had nothing to do wit my original query so replied and explained it to them again.
Chad replied to my email and explained that 'Buying Habbo credits from a third party is against the Habbo Way'. I know this and have never purchased credits apart from anywhere other than the habbo.com website!
He then went ahead and perm banned my account, they're now refusing (on several occasions) to remove the ban. Habbo explained that the person I traded with was a known re-seller on Habbo and that the gold bars he had traded me where stolen.
Okay, so I didn't know this guy traded me stolen furniture, I've lost my WHOLE Habbo account; credits, rares, thrones etc.
So really I've been banned for trading my thrones for credits with someone, because that someone gave me stolen furniture and now they're refusing to help.
Wow. Seems fair right?
