amazon customer service

just curious if you've ever had dealings with amazon, I am a frequent user of amazon and use them all the time and have to say their customer service is spot on. Basically today I paid for evening delivery for an item but they told me it's delayed until tomorrow so I spoke with them over the online chat, they refunded me postage straight away and offered me a £3 promo, I said can you make it £5 and I'll be happy and he said yes. Free £5 not too bad lol. You ever had dealings with them? Good/bad?

They delivered a package to one of my neighbours I didn't know and I called them all furious because my neighbor didn't give my package or open the door when I went knocking. Amazon were really nice and apologetic and resent my package. I did end up with two of the same item but it wasn't my fault.

I signed up for their prime trial ages ago and then on jan 3rd they took out like £79 from my bank so I legit had a panic attack
cancelled my subscription and then they said cos I hadn't logged in since start of jan / not used prime features i can get a refund woo

rarely use it but super amaze

if you have prime and it's some delivery problem then just say something about being disappointed with the delivery service that you're paying for and they'll give you a free month

yeah it's wicked, they've accidentally sent me too many items before, had refunds for things I didnt even return and refunds for things before I even returned them

I tried this but they weren't having it lol!! Annoying though because this is twice now that I've paid £10 for evening delivery and it has been delayed

You must've spoken to someone mean, usually they give out freebies no problem

I've only ever been on the online chat thing and I've always had such great dealings with them, they are always so friendly and they help out so quickly too. Most websites with online chats you're in the queue for ages and it's like so tiring but they are usually really fast and make the changes quickly for you.

You just go into the help options and it takes you through these options and it should say online chat :)
