When you were a kid I assume you were taught the usual traits by your parents like good manners and general life skills. But did you ever get taught something a little odd that's followed you into adulthood? If you don't get what I mean I'll give you an example:
As children my brother and I were taught that when we went out to dinner somewhere we'd get one drink for the entire meal, and if you guzzled it you'd be on water. So naturally, I learned to make one drink last an entire meal and even now at 24, I still do this. I told my boyfriend this and he thought it was kind of weird. For the record my parents weren't stingy, my brother was just a guzzler.
So my question to you is, whether you were taught to do something as a child that may be a bit weird to others but was the norm in your family and have continued the habit into adulthood?
Post below, especially the funniest!
