Chapter 1: I wish I had a friend

I wish I had a friend, Everyone else has friends except me and it's not fair, What IS wrong with me? WHY Don't I fit in? I wish I knew. Yes of course I'm not the prettiest girl in the world but, that doesn't matter! At least I'm not like other girls that all just think about boys and fancy clothes. I don't care what I look like. Anyway some girls are ugly AND fat, they have friends, SO WHY DON'T I HAVE ANY! ITS JUST NOT FAIR!
I'm on my way too school now. Slowly dawdling down the road, I see some of the popular kids, Sally, Kaytee, Lauren, Ellie, all them lot, and there queen Jayne. There probably going down to the field where all our lot hang out when they skive. If only I could skive, I want to skive, but I can't, I'm not daring enough, walking past those three I see a seriously fit guy, He's looking at me, Looking impressed, No, No he WASN'T looking at me, he was looking at Jayne, Everyone looks at Jayne! But I can't help feeling flustered, as my chubby cheeks flush he winked at me...

"Hey you, Raspberry!" He shouted. Yes, Raspberry, It's a STUPID name!
I turned around looking to find his dazzling smile, him beckoning me over, I know I shouldn't but like his beckoning fingers controlling me, I slowly go and stand with the gang

Chapter 2: Am I The New Queen?

So they started talking to me and Ellie asked me ‘’Wanna be in our gang?’’ ‘’Me? Really? Or is this just a joke so they can push me into the wasps and bee hive again’’ I thought. ‘’Yea ok’’ I replied. So we all walked through the field and then the fit boy Joey asked me out. ‘’Yea!’’ I replied. So we started holding hands and skiving school. A couple of weeks later after we all been to the town and Jayne and all went home, I followed Jayne home. I knew it was wrong but she had a lot of scratches on her arm. I peered in the window and her mum and dad were shouting at her for being one minute late. ONE MINUTE past six was the time. Next I saw Jayne cleaning the house. ‘’Jayne must not be so perfect after all!’’ I thought. Then at school on Monday there was cheerleading tryouts. I tried and got in! And I was the captain. Me, Ellie, Keely and Jayne made it. But then I saw on Jayne’s arm and legs. She was bruised badly. Then the next day she wasn’t at school. Or the next day. Or the next. After six weeks I was told she moved. So then I was the gangs new Queen.

Chapter 3: Joeys Confession
So I walked to school, I remembered me sad and lonely, a few weeks ago, i had changed so much, I looked around, the gang weren't on the field. So i went to the passageway, They weren't there either. So I popped along to school. Since I'd joined the gang, I'd only been to school a few times, So my new found popularity hadn't been registered. Then I saw a massive gang Around Joey and they were all shouting "Tell her!"
"Ok..." Said Joey, and the silence hushed as Joey looked terribly ashamed, and as I looked over, I saw Jayne in the corner, She was in her cheerleading outfit with... with MY captains badge on! her tiny hips moved as her evil smile and the glint in her eye stared at me. She was very very pretty but had an evil look! Oh no... I think I can tell what Joey was going to say, He opened his lips slowly...

Chapter 4- Jayne Is Back.

As Joey opened his mouth he said ‘’Look, Raspberry, Jayne is back. And she is the cheerleading captain and your dumped. Because me and Jayne go back out.’’ ‘’Oh and your not in our gang now. You may be a cheerleader. But find new friends’’ Jayne said. Then she kissed Joey. I ran away, far far away. I ran to a park and sat by the river chucking stones into the river. ‘’I’m going to drown myself’’ I thought. So i stood up and as i was about to jump in i felt someone breathing behind me. ‘’Don’t do it’’ the voice said. I turned around and there stood a girl around my age. ‘’Who are you?’’ I asked. ‘’I’m Carly.’’ She said. ‘’Hi, what are you doing?’’ I asked. ‘’I saw you going to jump in so I had to tell you no.’’ Carly said. After a couple of minutes I invited her to my house. ‘’It’s so nice to see Raspberry have another friend after what happened today.’’ My mum said. ‘’Come on Carly lets go to my room’’ I said. ‘’Yea ok.’’ She replied. So me and Carly ended up being best friends. Then one day I heard something. I heard that Jayne Was in hospital, and couldn’t be a cheerleader…..

I hoped and hoped and hoped they would select me as temporary captain.
"Seeing as the fabulous, beautiful, Jayne is in hospital, after our memorial to her absence,We will choose a temporary captain, You have to eat breathe sleep Jayne, and cheerleading, Jayne, cheerleading, and you must visit Jayne everyday, Now I will show you some pictures of our poor Jaynes excellence
The pictures went on and alot of wannabes were gripped. After the memorial the temporary captain was read out... Raspberry Colton? What a daft name, where are you 'Raspberry'. I slowly stood up.
"OH MY GAWD, YOUR THE ONE WHO TRIED TO RUIN JAYNE! So how come she's requested you've taken her place?"
I happily ran over and plucked the badge from Ashlees fingers.
"Ugh"
I took Jayne some flowers in her hospital room, she was surrounded in cards, teddies, flowers, she was eating some chocolates that had written on the front "To my lovely darling Jayne, I wish I'd never gone with Raspberry, I will always love you, Lots of love, Joey" It pained me to see that message, i kept scanning it with my eyes. Then I saw a bit on the bottom.
P.S: I'm glad I kissed you when i was going with Raspberry, I'm sorry I didn't let it lead to more
That was it I couldn't take it I dropped the flowers, ripped of my captains badge and ran home, I locked my door and sat on my bed, practically eating my thumb and rocking back to back, I didn't want to talk to Carly, I didn't want to talk to mum, dad, not even myself, Why was it always me? How come I can NEVER win, I messed up, I should of walked off when Joey beckoned me, I should of known he was going to kiss Jayne when we were together

Kaii, Chapter 6

So as i sat there on my bed i started writing a book amd called it ''Raspberry's Bad Childhood''. I wrote nine chapters then at 9pm i fell asleep. The next morning i woke up and my mum was making my breakfast. I got dressed and brushed my hair then ran downstairs. After i had ate my breakfast i went upstairs and i wasn't feeling so good. I just lay on my bed and i think i passed out. Then a couple of hours later i woke up in a hospital bed. ''Are you ok hunny?'' Mum asked. ''Yea, What happened?'' i asked. ''You passed out.'' she replied. ''But i brought your laptop for you.'' ''Thanks.But mum? Can you go back home and under my bed theres a sealed box and get that for me?'' i asked. ''Yea ok. Its only a ten minute walk, See you soon'' she said walking out. I looked across from me and i saw Jayne. It gets worse. She was kissing LYLE!....

Chapter 7: I wish Joey was mine...

"Jayne.. What are you doing? Thats Lyle, You love JOEY" I screamed, I knew Joey needed a taste of his own medicine, but I couldn't bare to see me witnessing it.
"Honey, My days of popularity and being perfect are over now, I left everything. They've all left too now, I love Lyle now"
"W-wheres Joey?" I said, wondering if this was my chance to snatch him back.
"Things have happened darling, Joey.. he's... I don't know how to tell you this but..."
"THEN DON'T! ALL YOU DID JAYNE, YOU PULLED JOEY WHEN HE WAS MINE, YOU TOOK MY CAPTAINS JOB FROM ME AND MY BOYFRIEND, YOU'VE TAKEN EVERYTHING FROM ME! EVERYTHING! SO DON'T YOU 'Honey' AND 'Darling' ME! YOU SAY YOU'VE TURNED A NEW LEAF BUT KNOW ONE CAN FORGIVE YOU FOR WHAT SCUM YOU USED TO BE, YOU MAY BE GOOD NOW, BUT I'LL CATCH YOU OFF GUARD, AND WHEN I DO, IT'S PAYBACK TIME!"
"Look. Your going crazy! You still like Joey but you can't have him!"
"Why? I've slept with him before! Top that!"
"Listen honey, I went out with him for two years when you weren't even in the picture... Did you really think we hadn't slept together? You COULD have him... If he was alive..."
"You mean... No..."
Jayne nodded and tears started streaming down her cheeks, Lyle cuddled her closer.
"But, I love him! I LOVE HIM!" I got out of bed in my nightie, put on my slippers and ran to the graveyard, nurses, doctors tried to stop me, I had to see my darling... I had to find out if it was true...

Chapter 8- Jayne Will PAY!

So as i ran to the graveyard i saw Joey on the bench crying. I went up and sat beside him. ''Do you know what Jayne has been saying and doing?'' I asked. ''What!?'' He moaned. ''She said you were dead and she is kissing Lyle in the hospital!'' I said. ''Look. Jayne loves me. And i love her'' He said. ''Fine! Ill get proof.''I said But then, at that very moment when i walked away i passed out again. ''BerrY? Wake up'' I heard my mothers voice saying. ''You passed out.''. ''Again?'' I said. ''Yes, i brought this box you asked me to bring.'' My mum said. ''Thanks mum'' i said. ''Well i have work. And will come and get you in the morning.'' She said and walked away. I looked over and Jayne and Joey were hugging. ''Im gonna kill myself'' i thought. But then Carly walked in. ''Hey Berry.'' she said. She had brought me a Best Friend braclet. ''Thanks. And hey. Im really angry at the moment.'' I said. ''Whats up?'' she said. ''I just hate Jayne over there.'' i said. ''oh i have to go.I'll come back in an hour'' Carly said. ''Bye'' i said ''bye'' she replied. When Joey left i got up and went over to Jayne. ''What you think your doing?'' I said gritting my teeth. ''Well i have two boyfriends and may i point out Joey isn't dead!'' She said laughing. ''Thats it!'' I thought. So i took my arm and punched her in the nose...

I sat with my arms wrapt around my knees in my bed. It was cold, the sheets were too cold to crawl under for comfort. I was in my own room now, to keep me safe they said. As they took me firmly by the arm. I was numb and hurt at the same time. Hot and cold.. I sat trembling and staring at the quilt.. Years of bullying and I'd almost forgotten it all over a boy... almost let all my suffering dissapear but she forced it back on me. I looked around this new surrounding, there was a medical supplies cupboard. I stared at it for a long while, and then stood, my feet hit the icy floor with slaps and i shuddered violently as i slipped across the floor, it was locked.. But now I was up I could see through the tiny glass window in my door, and almost exactly opposite my room was the nurses supplies station, I saw the boxes of needles, drugs the names I didnt understand, knives, bandages.. how ironic.. I thought to myself.. to die in hospital.

But, I thought, allowing myself one single tear of my terror to fall.. me.. or her?

Chapter 10:
I thought: I must be going crazy! Where am I? Didn't my mum say she would pick me up in the morning? oh no. I'm lost aren't I? I'm lost! All of a sudden I heard a key turn on the other side and in came Lyll, he was SO different, his hair was all static and messy and his teeth were goofed out, I picked up my bag and said politely
"Hello Lyll, I'm feeling alot better, may I go home now?"
"No way! Your not going ANYWHERE get BACK into bed and I'll tell you why your here!" he said
I slowly backed away and fell onto the bed.
"You knew, didn't you?"
"Knew what?"
"YOU KNEW SHE WAS PLAYING ME ! YOU KNEW ALL THAT STUPID 'NEW LEAF' STUFF WAS LIES!"
"Well yes- but"
"SO WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME HMMM? WHY DIDN'T YOU?"
"I just didn't want to-"
"DIDN'T WANT TO WHAT? HMM? DIDN'T WANT TO HURT MY FEELINGS! WELL YOU'VE ALREADY DONE THAT!"
"I'm sorry Lyll, please please don't hurt me, I was confused, out of control! You've gotta believe me"
"It's too late for sorry! It's too late for anything! I believed Jayne was the one, she was the one who would put all my lonely sorrows to sleep, but you couldn't care less could you?"
"Lyll I COULD care less! I know what it's like, I never used to have any friends, remember when Joey ripped my heart out!"
"Your NOT on memory lane, your in my underground revenge station! This is where EVERYONE whose EVER done me wrong goes! Nothing is safe here, this is where you live your LAST FEW DAIIZ! Cmon, give your phone!"
I hesitated.

So I handed it over. But there was a message on there from Carly, Lyll said he would read it to me. It read:

It read ''Hey Berry! Whats up? Ill come and see you today because its important''. So as Lyle left i locked the door. Packed my stuff. Got changed. Opened the window. And with my suitcase. I jumped out. Then i ran home really fast. When i got home my mum was sitting on the couch crying. ''Mum? Whats wrong?'' I asked. ''HUNNY! YOUR BACK!''She said. ''Mum i escaped. They were gonna kill me!'' I said sweating. ''WHAT!?'' My mum said furiously. ''Mum im not going back there'' I said. ''No your not,'' She said hugging me. ''Im really scared they will come here'' I said. ''Well we can move. I mean i was crying because your dad left. But ill give him the house if he pays some of our new house ok?'' She said kinda sobbing. ''Ok!'' I said. Because i didnt really like my dad. The next week we moved into a really beautiful house and i was next door to Carly. So i was really happy. But the next day when me and Carly were in my room Un-*****ng i looked out the window and saw.....

a photographer. I frowned and walked closer to the window to get a better view.. what the... carly came up behind me and peered too, a bus passed blocking our view momentarily but when it was gone so was he. A cold flush of fear ran through me.

Then i saw him again. He took a picture of me and Carly. I screamed and my mum came up. ''What is it?'' She said. ''A MAN WITH A CAMERA WHO IVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE TOOK OUR PICTURE!'' I said shaking. ''Ill call the police'' She said and headed downstairs. ''I'm scared'' Carly said. ''Me too.'' I replied. ''Lets just finish un*****ng.'' She said. ''Yea!'' I said. As we finished Un*****ng the police arrivied at the door, With a man. Me and Carly ran downstairs. ''Is this him?'' A police officer asked. ''Yes! Hes spying on us!'' Carly said. The police took his camera and looked through and saw a horrible picture of me.....

"I was planning to make a run. I was so ready too! Lyll was dumb, he even had the doors wide open when he went on vacation for goodness sake! So anyway, when you ran away he was so angry, he was gonna kill me! How did you tunnel out anyway?"
"I... I don't know, I just did."
"Well back to the story, now the only way I can earn to talk to my family and my friends, is by Working for Lyll, I earn 5 minutes by each picture I get that he can use to blackmail, I'm so sorry Raspberry, I really really am! But... I had to do it! And now I have to tell you that..."
"How long?" I added, my eyes filling with tears, I knew my life was soon to come to an end.
"How long till when?" Said Joey
"Oh shutup, You can tell" I snapped
"Three days"
"THREE DAYS" Said my mother
"You might not die, but you have to live there, forever. And you can never see your family again. Unless you work for it like I did. Maybe, just MAYBE he'll let you off the hook, but you ran, i so doubt it."
"Take me now" I said, holding my hands out and *****ing my eyes together.
"What?"
"It'll be too hard too say goodbye, please just take me now."
"Razzy, you don't have too, the embarassment of the pictures getting out" Said Carly, but I finished her sentence off.
"It'll pass, I know, but Joey I still love you, and the feeling won't pass that I nearly killed you once, and then I stopped you from seeing your family, please, just take me with you now"
"Y-You'd do that... For me?"
"Course I would. I love you"
"I love you too. Look I know were young but, when were older and, Please, Will you marry me?" He knelt down on his one knee
"I-I'm"
"I know this is unexpected, It is for me but, I want to be with you Raspberry and I know were only 15 but, when it's legal, I want to."
"I want to to but,I don't know If I'll live to the legal age."
"I'm not gonna take you, we can run away, just you and me, no-one will EVER know were fifteen."
"Mum... Can I?"

I hugged Carly.
"I'll call you every daii I promise, both of you" I whispered, tears streaming down my cheeks
"No you won't, that would be stupid." Said Carly.
"Why..." I fell to the earth with a bump, my happiness had gone, had I just lost my best friend?

"Yeah! Cmon lets go pack some essentials, the next bus leaves to Yingledale in haf an hour.
"HALF AN HOUR! CMON WE GOTTA BE QUICK!!!"

So as we left for the bus my mum was crying and i knew she wants me to stay.So now i had to think. Should I? What if Joey was playing another trick on me? No he wouldnt. So when we arrivied we went to my Grandmothers old house because she passed away and left me her house in her will, and then Joey kept going out and not comming back till 3am. One day my mother phoned. ''Hi honey how are you?'' She asked. ''Fine'' I muttered. ''Well im comming to pick you up! Joey is talking to Llyl!'' She said crying. ''Mum, PLEASE HURRY'' I cried. So we packed our things and waited. My mum came half an hour later and we drove home. Carly just went home and I ran into my bedroom. I saw Llyl and Joey talking and then i remembered. The book i was writing. So i picked it up from under my bed and started writing away. Then at 4pm my mum shouted me for dinner. As we ate my mother said ''Razzy? Do you want to go to another school?'' ''Yes mum'' I replied. ''Well, Carly goes to the Private School across the lake and its called Abbey Wood Private School.'' She said. ''I'd love to go!'' I said.

The next day we went to pick up my uniform wich was A blue, yellow and black tarten skirt, Blue sweatervest, White knee high socks, black shoes and a Blue Blazer. So the next day me and Carly walked along the bridge over the lake to the school. I loved it but a few weeks later i saw Jayne....

I rubbed my eyes, to check, Yep, it was Jayne, in the uniform, She was surrounded by Abbey Wood populars. Trust her to be little miss popular AGAIN!
But I decided I Just Didn't care
I wasn't interested.
I'd lived that life I didn't want to live it again.
But in that crowd, was Joey
I tried to run but slipped on a banana skin
"Where did you go, I came home and you were gone!"
"Please... Don't hurt me! Don't hurt me don't hurt me NO" I started crying
"She forgot to take her medication. Come one Joey, lets go" And she passionately kissed him. I was confused.
"Thats right You just got tricked. Lyll NEVER had an underground torture centre, And he's never been a librarian, he's a fit gorgeous guy who is my boyfriend. And about 'Carly' your best friend, her name is Sascha, and she's NOT your best friend, she's mine. We just pranked you the longest and earliest, april fools, We pretended to get Joey and Lyll to talk outside your moma's house so she'd come and get you. I can't believe you fell for it, I can't WAIT to tell the world. They will die!" With that, she clicked her fingers
and everyone followed her, throwing stuff at me as they walked away
I felt such confused feelings
a mix of sadness, anger, every emotion ever. I lay, motionless, it was the harshest prank ever. yet I'd let them do it to me...

I ran home, enough was enough, I pulled the book out from under my bed and wrote the ending. Tears slipped over my cheeks as i wrote in my best handwriting 'the , end' and placed the book on my bed. I went down to the kitchen, mum was at work, I picked up the knife my father used to use to cut old ropes and pressed it against my skin, crying.

It took a lot longer than I thought it would, I felt dizzy as I fell to the floor and after that just breathless.. I faded in and out and my head span with thoughts of the people who had been around me, I had been decieved nothing was real. I didnt want to live in a world of doubt.

I felt myself give in and my body finally gave in to death.









I opened my eyes and gave a startled cry. My dad was knocking at my door 'Berry' he called, I was puzzled for a second.. then as he came in and I remembered my mum leaving for Jamacia.. moving schools and towns.. ''it was just a dream''...

7 years later.


It was my 22nd birthday and i went into my mum's house. She was making dinner. ''Hey mum!'' I called. ''Hey hun'' she shouted back. ''Im just going up to my old room'' I shouted ''Okay'' she replied. So i went up and opened the door. I looked through everything. Then i looked on my top shelf and felt something like a book. I took it down and read it. It was my life book. Everything about what had happened in my life. I took it and put it in my bag. Then i said to my mum ''Im going back to my place be back later.'' ''Okay'' she said. But i didn't go there. I went to the Book Publisher place on the corner of Maple Street. I let them look through my book and a man said ''This is deffinatly getting published.'' ''Great!!!'' I said. ''So after a couple of weeks i went into my local book shop and there sat my book ''Berry's Childhood'' With me on the back! I bought a copy and ran to my mums house and showed her. She was so happy. I started to write more and i got three jobs a Author, Illustrater and Photogropher. Then i heard that Jayne was pregnant. With Joey's baby, But she was married to Lyle. Then a couple of weeks later i ran into a handsom man named Liam. After a year i become pregnant with twin girls and i named one LuLu and Liam named one called Keely. Then after a month i saw Jayne...

but i didnt feel afraid any more. I had survived. I held liams hand tight and walked past her. Around the corner i recognised joey... buying drugs. Liam squeezed me tight and i smiled and thanked god id not ended up with joey

As me and Liam pushed LuLu and Keely in the twin buggy Jayne came in front of us. ''What do you want?'' I said. ''Im sorry for everything that happened'' She said. ''I dont want your stupid apoliges! I dont care about you! I dont care about any of your formal ''gang'' so just go away!'' I said! ''Fine but you'll be sorry'' She laughed. Then LuLu threw her toy at her. Me and Liam laughed. ''Grr! Stupid baby'' She said sobbing. ''Aw. Boo hoo. Mabye she just don't like you, I mean no one else does.'' I said. Liam picked up LuLu's toy and we headed to my Mums. As we got in i unstrapped LuLu and Keely from their buggy and carried them through to the living room. ''Hey mum whats up?'' I asked. ''Hey!'' she said. ''Gwanny'' Keely mummered. ''Granny is here'' My mum said taking her from me. Then LuLu lauhed. ''I can't believe they're two tommorow'' Mum said. ''I know.'' Liam said as he came through. ''Yep. Well we better go. Ill see you tommorow.'' i said lifting Keely up from my mum. I strapped them into their buggy and me and Liam went home. The next day at LuLu and Keely's party all my friends and their kids showed up and one guest who was....

"Hi Raspberry" He grinned evilly.
"Oh, hey Lyll, hows things with you and Jayne?" I said
"Oh, we just broke up. She had an affair with Joey" He said, looking sad.
"Aww, Lyll, I'm so sorry! Hey why don't you stay for a while, Liams gone to get some eggs and I could really use a hand with the kids party"
"Sure, I'll stay. You know, it's too bad we never got together at that age, I would of protected you from all that bullcrap Jayne was telling you"
"Awww thats so sweet, now I'm going to go wrap the 'pass the parcel' You can just mingle."
As I went to get the pass the parcel, I didn't know what was happening in the hallway
"Hi Lyll, what are you doing here?" Said Liam as he came in with the eggs.
"I'm just... Oh theres no easy way to say this. Raspberry thinks things with you two aren't working out. I hate to be the one to have to say this but, she's breaking up with you"
"But.. things were going great, I-I was going to propose :("
"Sorry, Just face it, You and Raspberry weren't meant to be, now me and Raspberry, we WERE meant to be, you get me?"
Liam started to cry.
"No... All these years I thought I was the one"
"I'm sorry, but your not!"
"Bye then :("
And with that Liam walked out. Lyll had just changed my life, but I didn't know it yet.
"Hey sweetie." said Lyll, he had taken his shirt off and was sat down with his shoes off.
"Hey... Was that Liams voice I heard?"
"Aww isn't that sweet, you love him SO much, your hearing his voice!"
"I know, but it really did sound real!"
"OK, Liam was here but... He doesn't like you anymore, while he was getting his eggs the... Cashier struck him, he likes her now."
"Wh-What?"

We went downstairs and played games then we lit the two cakes with pictures of them on it and they blew the candles out. I think ive forgot about my past. But i still read the book i wrote. And the other day. I heard Jayne was dead. She stabbed herself. But hey! Who cares? And Llyl got married to a women. Then i heard that Carly got really really fat and weighed 28stone. My childhood was boring and i hated it. But now i love my adulthood :)

Thought we could all write the 3rd story on this thread :)

Life is sweet, I thought as I skipped to the park, with my little sister Bexa. Bexa was only three, and I had been allowed to take her for a walk on the park. Bexa loved the park, it is like her heaven. I love her gorgeous smile when she sees it, the way she looks around, wondering what she should do first! Then she'd clamber onto the swings and the two of us would have fun until it started to get dark, then we would walk home and talk about each others life. Then when we got home, we'd have some dinner and I would read Bexa a story and she would go too bed :) Bexa was my life. I didn't HAVE friends but I didn't care, Bexa was my gorgeous little sister and I knew we would always be friends. We would never fight like older sisters, when we married we would both be each others bridesmaids. My happy dream was ruined this time though.

My mother yelled to my father.
