Designer out, cheap and cheerful in?
Well, it seems less and less people are bothered about wearing top designer gear these days. I've noticed a change in myself; I used to love wearing FCUK and DKNY t-shirts, but I don't see the point anymore.
H&M, Primark, Envy, River Island and Topman (Topshop for you ladies) are the way to go. A fraction of the price but you can get things similar or even better design-wise than Gucci or Prada. I find things that don't have a label or crest on them saying a designer name much nicer overall, as you pay more attention to how it actually looks. Most people I know prefer to buy these cheaper clothes now, and I think it's much better in general. People who used to be shunned because they couldn't afford the "in thing" now don't have to be :D
What does everyone else think? Are the cheaper alternatives kicking the expensive stuff out of your wardrobe?
