... as you've gotten older.
everyone holds ridiculous, strong opinions about things whilst younger. we all look back on things we've said as young teens and cringe.
what strong opinions / morals did you hold whilst younger, and why did they change?

When I was like 12 I was a communist because it sounded cool but then I learned what it actually meant and thought it was rubbish
More recently I held what I thought to be feminist views but again it was learning about the reality of the situation that made me realise just how awful the movement and the majority of those within it are, so now I go with reality and logic and stats rather than buzzwords and dogma
Basically just always trying to learn more :P
idk i used to tell people that there are people dying of hunger and disease in africa so they should be happy that they are not in their position like literally... that used to be my advice for everything
anyways i learnt that by saying this nor does the person feel better nor do the kids in africa so yep lol
Idrk I changed a fair bit so I don't really have any similar morals. Although I can't remember any of my old ones.... I'll just go with Tom's communist thing cause I was like that briefly when i was 13 or so.
I think my opinions of certain people has changed as I got older and that's made the way I view things change.
Marriage - I don't believe in happily ever after. I can't believe I ever did.
Love. I don't believe in it anymore.
uh i was anti smoking and anti drugs, still am about heroin injecting etc id drop someone like that from my life in a heartbeat but im much more open minded about them now after seeing that good decent people smoke and do drugs and its not a big deal. pretty much just accepting about anything others wanna do tbh
Thanks guys. I'll probably have a different opinion in 10 years time, or not. I guess I shouldn't say I don't believe in it just because it hasn't happened to me, if I had that attitude for everything that would be depressing
I think I'm the same as you Mike, my morals are the same more or less but my attitude has also changed.
