To be honest I am still at awe any of you think a politician should respond in this way. If a Labour, Conservative, Liberal Democrat (probably even UKIP) member did this they would be no doubt be suspended. It may well be the human reaction to fight but a serious and professional politician would never do such a thing. It does not mean the BNP are racist, it means certain candidates of theirs are a joke and the party lacks any discipline or professionalism.
at the end of the day, people ar ejust using this incident to have another go at the BNP.
Personally, i don't like or support the BNP, but i respect there rights to freedom of speech. Also, i'm not going to lie, some of their policies i do agree with.
That being said, the asians wanted a fight, and got it. They wernt chased down the street, do you see them running? No, you see them trying to fight. As for his friends joining in. It was 3 on one, of course his friends are going to help.
If the asians friends kept out, i highly doubt any of the other BNP members would of got involved.
End.
Neither party (Asian lads and BNP candidates) had a right to do what they did.
How on earth is Gordon Brown's comment, said in private, the same as this situation and where in my post did I mention him or any other political party? I didn't so I fail to see what this has to do with the current topic. Seen as you've brought it up, I won't avoid it or i'll be hearing about it for months. Gordon was wrong for saying what he did, but I think you have to be extremely naive to believe that no other political leader has ever said something once he has finished speaking with someone like this. It's not true. All Gordon did was get caught, and I personally believe that the woman could have worded what she said better. The way she tried to ask about immigration was the typical uneducated line of "oh all these eastern europeans.." What she should have said was, "What do you plan to do to better control immigration?" She chose to go down the line of 'oh all these europeans stealing all our jobs..' and it's rubbish. He is entitled to his opinion and he had it, how was he supposed to know what he said in private was going to be broadcast?
To answer your other question, yes I was. I still would, certain opinions such as blatant racism are not allowed and i'm afraid the BNP get away with it because they are dressed up in suits and pretend to be politicians. This incident shows they are nothing like it, they cannot control their tempers and that is vital to being a successful politician. All shreds of respectabilty disappear in my mind when incidents such as this happen. If the BNP candidate was more intelligent and more in control of himself he could have used this as an opportunity to prove his twisted opinions were in some way correct and not reacted. Instead he used violence, completely out of proportion to the spitting in my mind, to get his own back. Appalling.
And finally, though I realise this last bit wasn't a reply to me, did I actually just see you condone kicking someone in the head? That is disgusting. Nobody deserves to be kicked in the head in response to them spitting on you. Yes it's vile to spit on someone, but kicking someone in the head can permanently damage them or even kill them..
Why would I waste time reading it when someone could easily sum it up in a sentence? And why have I been told in a -rep what tl;dr means when I'm the one who said it needs one?
and lolz report my post for asking people to sum up her post
