Well it was initially, smoking in my family is as bad as committing murder.

i smoke socially or if i'm drunk. and i do weed if it's offered (because i cba to pay for drugs ha). done other stuff in the past, and probably would do it again if offered.

And actually, if your child is smoking at 14/15 it is bad parenting. how can you say its not? You should lay down early on that smoking is bad and try everything to prevent it? And how are they getting the cigs? And why are they smoking? Fair enough if they're 16 because they can legally smoke but any younger and you should be trying to stop them as much as possible.

@Conservative It's not bad parenting you can't wrap your children in cotton wool and their friends do play part of their influences too not just the parents the majority of young people try smoking due to peer pressure or because their friends do and they want to experiment with it - my mum and dad told me constantly from a young age how disgusting smoking is and my dad smokes but I now smoke myself and it hasn't made my mum or dad any worse parents at the end of the day they can't stop me from doing it..

90% of my friends smoke or do drugs, my parents don't do either though

I smoke weed. Done ecstacy a few times and some pills. No coke or anything though... My best friend since I was tiny went to jail for it :((
