and why are you acting superior 'irresponsible
parents' lmaooo most my smoker friends mums dont mind them smoking when they were underage, nor do my aunties but doesn't make them any less of a responsible parent than yours... it's the childs choice at the end of the day. my friends 18 n her mum hates her smoking and she's a respectable member of the council and her dads a dentist so yknow... varies
yeah you could buy cigs 50p each here too or just get someone in the street to buy lol
I wasn't bragging I was stating what I believe is the main cause of my current situation. I was quite popular in primary school and had a big group of friends who mostly go to my school. But I wasn't put in their forms and they got friendly with 'cool' people and didn't try and got put into lower sets. If I hadn't been in top sets I think I wouldve kept my friendships with them and ended up smoking myself tbh. I wasn't trying to be superior.

And actually, if your child is smoking at 14/15 it is bad parenting. how can you say its not? You should lay down early on that smoking is bad and try everything to prevent it? And how are they getting the cigs? And why are they smoking? Fair enough if they're 16 because they can legally smoke but any younger and you should be trying to stop them as much as possible.

god parenting isn't that easy and simple  kids will be kids. they'll be curious and want to experiment with things. obviously it is wrong to be smoking at such a young age - but there's only so much parents can do.

Buying them from older students.. I've seen kids going round selling cigs loads of times.. They also sell cans of pop and sweets. Something for everyone..!

I've tried smoking a few times, done weed like once or twice, both not my thing. My mum used to smoke but she's quit now.
Sounds like someone wants to get.... funky.

A guy was stoned in my history class last week >_> The thing is, nearly all my friends from primary school now smoke/do drugs, and the only reason I'm not like them is because I got into the top classes. If I hadn't tried I fear I would be the same.
some od them get it from there parents but mainly from the year 10s.

My parents used to smoke a cigar about three times a year, which they don't do anymore. The only people I know that smoke now are the chavs in Year 9/10/11 and a couple of the fr00bs in sixth form at my school, I don't ever intend to smoke myself.

My best mate start smoking a few weeks ago and now he smokes loads. I went out with him today 'cause he had to walk his dog and in the space of 45mins he had about 10 smokes. It's his life and I'm not going to tell him not to, I just hope he sees sense, either relax on the smokes or drop them completely. The same friend started to do ecstasy, I hope he knows what he's getting into.
