Nintendo DS Is Better than PSP In lots of was to me. Even if i have both
ugh just seen pics for burnout ledgends for DS.
there are some games where the graphics are so bad, it ruins the game, an d Burnout will probably be one of them as One of Burnouts main selling points is its graphics
From what I've seen of this thread theres many mixed oppinions, maybe because we have a younger audience? the DS is mainly posessed by youngsters now. The PSP, I think you either hate it or love it! I've always stuck with playstation so I'll keep my vote and go for the PSP.
I don't think you can argue that the DS has a better gameplay than the PSP? Graphics does fall into that category, thats the whole point of Gameplay, the environment of the game and how well it plays etc...
From the games that are currently released on the PSP, I would say that it has got alot to show.
For Example: Wipeout, amazing Graphics and amazing gameplay, bordem of nothing of its kind.
Don't get me wrong, the DS looks tempting to play, some games they have are very addictive and enjoyable, but for me, I'm a PSP person, I'll stick with that :p
lol
Nintendo is generally aimed at 13 under, they admit that, so yes the majority of games are childish. i find that games that used to flumex me r too simple now and i prefer the sony games now. I do continue to have a good game of super smash bros or mario kart. Proof that ds is aimed at younger children, most of the games are 3+ rating. the psp is more sophisticated with films and headphones etc. a younger gamer wouldnt be to bothered about films and music but an older gamer would be grateful for the multiple uses....
This morning i played pokemon for some weird reason and i just didnt get the same thrill as before...
Ive got to say though ds is going to have an advantage as this is may i add sony's first hand held console. i think they've done very well and it is better for 14+ Although u do miss the predictable story lines of nintendo and the classic battle of mario and bowser.
i wouldnt say psp is a wipeout as it seems to be selling just as well as ds...
For looks psp wins, although the flip screen is cool it just looks to childish. how the sreen is so small yet the bit around it is so big...
I have a DS, and a PSP. In my eyes, DS goes all the way. The PSP gets far to dirty. The screen is on the same level as everything else, including buttons, which gives way to easy scratching. Loading times are also a large pain, and battery life. The amount of time I have to spend charging it is phenomenal, as it takes a long time to charge. The DS is much more reliable, with a very long lasting battery life. The game line-up is absolutely great aswell. May I make a point of telling you that the DS is aimed at ALL audiences. I certainly don't think the Project Rub is a game for under 10's. Other games, such as Another Code, are aimed at an older audience, as is Ridge Racer and other racing games. The puzzles are very challenging. There are SOME games which are for younger people, but some make the mistake of saying that ALL DS games are for a younger audience. The DS is much more robust, and I hell of a lot of fun. I have Nintendogs on preorder. You can just pick up and play a DS. With a PSP, you have to endure the loading times in public. And, well, the DS's online capabilities look rather promising, aswell as its connectivity to the Revolution. Oh, and just incase someone else takes a dig at the games... METROID HUNTERS FOR DS WILL KICK J00 PSP!!!!!!11!!11
Under 13? I'm sorry but I doubt games like resident evil (and most other games that have a 15/18 age limit) are aimed at people under 13.. That's just rubbish.Quote:
