Maths Coursework to be ditched

Your making it sound like getting a B is rubbish! I can do the working out in Maths easy, but in my coursework I didn't do as much as everyone else because everyone did it in big steps where I just made it alot easier for myself.

Won't this mean your have like an extra exam which sucks

Or they just alter the mark system to suit the exmas

and persoanlly im all for coursework, as im not the quickest and coursswork allows e to pick up lost marks :)

Bad idea, imo. Coursework counts for what, 20% of your grade, so if you do well in your coursework [which most people do as despite the fact that teachers can't TELL you the answers, they can help you with it] you go into the exam with a boost of confidence, that you've already got a good mark. And as someone said, it puts too much pressure on you to do well in the real exam.

you get longer exams though... ;[

scotland don't have it and haven't ever.
makes way more sense.

people who do well in maths should be able to acheive it in the exam.
