Core temps a bit high?

You probably need to re-apply the thermal paste.

Intel push pins are the worst. Even if it seems on correctly, it may not be.

But if you're running it outside the case with no fans blowing cool air accross the motherboard and heatsink, then no wonder temps are high

Case is coming tomorrow so I@m sure it will all be ok until then. I will double check the push pins tomorrow.

Oh yeah it should be fine.. just don't play any games or put any load on it

Update your coretemp to 0.99.3 to see if it makes a difference.

Those are a lot better, mine are usually around that.

It's only gone down because your CPU has begun throttling itself down. Look at the CPU speed. 1.6GHz

Zalman ZM-STG1 Thermal Grease = best ever. Comes with a brush not some crappy strip of plastic
