My friend works at Tesco Express in our village and works longer than he's legally allowed :$ He skips school all the times so he can work, which is stupid really, and he's staying on for the next 2 years taking 4 A-Levels... I think on school days he does 4 - 10, but on weekends I'm sure he does longer, I don't think his pay is very good either, I'm sure it's under £5/h.
I tried, Sainsburys, ASDA n they didnt take 16 year olds who hadnt left school.
Didnt try tesco because it was too far for me. So I dont no about it.
Im still looking for a job. Harder than i thought.

I'm 17 and I've had my part-time job for almost a year.
I'm in full time education and I work from 4-6:30 every day after school, and then saturday's from 9-1.
I get paid £4.50 an hour.
It's not as easy as working in a cafe, but I love it.
