what's the point in flashing your 360?
Aside from the fact you can download just about any game you want, and basically get games for 30p, dependent on what brand of disk you use. Nothing really.
I also have a flashed xbox 360, and quality disks cost more.
It's your choice, if you want your disks to last, and have no corrupt backups buy Verbatim disks, there on special @ play.com at the moment:
http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/787183...t.html?cur=257
10 for 10, which is an incredible price + free delivery.
the only perk with flashing your xbox 360 is being able to play backup'd games.
Warning
Some drives are hard to flash, and can be bricked which renders them useless, and if you dont have a backup of the dvd key, your xbox is useless.
There is also a chance of getting banned from xbox live, if they detect that your running a backup'd game.
My Arita disks have a lifespan of around say.. 8 months before they burn out? I don't have a problem with that. I don't see the point in paying buckets of money for Verbs, when i know i won't play every game i download as much as the likes of, COD, FIFA, Halo etc. I'm happy with Aritas. :)
Well, i have been using this method for almost 2 years, and i've survived potential bannings. :)
And you check you're disks on ABGX to see if the disk has been copied correctly. A fully-burned corrupted disk, that has died through use won't get you banned. It's just like me scratching hell out of a retail game i have, and putting it in the Xbox.
I did infact get my facts mixed up between buying good quality disks and using agbx360.
If you dont use agbx360, and the iso is corrupted you have a chance of getting banned from xbl.
my main point was, if you buy verbatim's, your guarenteed for them to last, if you buy cheaper ones they just wear out after a while and sometimes you get a runner when trying to burn to them.
your aggravated reply was because I sent you a PM earlier which you could not reply to
