My brother has the P1 Subaru Impreza, which is a 2-door version. Apparently it's uber rare. Interesting to be a passenger, seeing as it feels like you're meant to be lifting off any second after you've accelerated :P
My brother also had a P1, he moved straight to an FQ360 after that and said the difference was minimal so it really does give you an idea on just how fast the P1's are. He has had a nice collection of cars when looking back but he soon gets bored with them and changes to something faster.
I've driven my uncle's old Evo VIII FQ-360 around the industrial estate at work, and it was epic in every way! massively quick, and with the 4wd you could chuck it into corners and it was uber quick off the mark! I also had my mate's Audi S4 for the best part of a day which cost me quite a bit in fuel but was worth every penny :)
S4's are one of my favourite cars, I've never been in one but I have seen and heard one. The sound of that V8 is far better than a V6. What was the S4 like to drive compared to the evo?
I've never been mad about neither the Scooby or the Evo - but upon saying that though, the new Impreza STi is a very smart motor - I seen one used a police car recently

ever since my volvo died i need something awd... a legacy outback is winning the race!
The Evo felt a little quicker than the S4 but I drove the evo about 6 months before the S4. The power from the S4 seemed to be applied smoother than the Evo, which was just there immediately.. also with the evo having a turbo, when it kicked in the boost obviously made a difference as the S4 is n/a. S4 also had 2200cc more than the evo, but the evo was a turbo.
I'd prefer an S4, mainly as it's a classier car, and for the noise from the 8 cylinders :) I just love executive saloons. I'd have an evo for the rally pedigree and the whole driving fast everywhere with lots more adrenaline :P
my dad's car version, colour 'n all:
