Thanks everybody, is there any that you all would agree on? I aren't bothered if I have to 'pay' for them or not =]

ESET complete security (either Smart Security or just NOD32 version 4) is by far the safest and most reliable.

I've had numerous attacks on my computer and when I had Norton or Antivirus that came with the computer, it took weeks to remove, usually by paying to remove them.

I've had similar attacks on my computer again with NOD32 and wow, they were instantly detected and removed swiftly.

Infections that can't be removed automatically are always a bother, but ESET gives you a direct folder link to go to that directory and sort out some cold hard business yourself.

It really is worth thinking about.

I installed Kaspersky, but maybe thinking of switching to ESET =]

I still think Avast is the best all round :')
