Not a fault, its human error

The way I see it is that we don't want to see it on the forum - fair enough. But it was the filter's fault that it wasn't filtered - and the filter really should have filtered it. And when you type that, you WOULD expect the filter to pick that sort of thing up.
Personally I would have just edited the post, but not have issued a warning until the filter was updated. If people posted it multiple times, then I would probably warn for an inappropriate post, but surely the filter has to be working decently for avoiding the filter to apply - just my opinion.
well there you go, human error
censorship options *****
wouldnt surprise me if phil doesnt have permissions to change it
I imagine at first it was done on accident, but when people realised the filter didn't pick it up, then people went with it.
Imagine if the forum filter broke down completely, and people started saying words on the filter, would that still count as avoiding the filter? Because that's how I see the current situation, just the filter not working with that one word :P
@Kardan; He wasn't warned/infracted straight away, he was PM'd and then he still continue to go against what he has just been told. He posted everything else knowing he had broken the rules.
sorry didn't realise I was to make a feedback thread for every error I find, just wanted an answer in realtime in the thread. Still think my infraction is undeserved. this is a good time to point out to mods that rules aren't there (imho) to be applied literally and to the letter, if it's clear that an individual has honest intentions then punishment should not be give.
I swear that's been said several times lmao
first post was asking why it was filtered, which was the one that was edited and that I was infracted for (didn't receive any pms about it like casanova seems to have done :S) then I posted again asking "can you please filter the word".
I initially actually reported casanova's post cos I thought he was using formatting in his post to avoid the filter... turns out when I tried it that the word wasn't filtered. forum admin problem.
kyle what a cocksmear you are. who reports people these days, unless its spite. then it's allowed.
Who the **** just said I look like dappy!?!! I look nothing like that *****tain.
On topic, add a new title to the warning. semantics matter.
this thread getting moved none of u learn u bunch of fannys
we've provided critical feedback to help the forum. I'm always such a 'giving' character.
PS: I look NOTHING like dappy!?
idc about a bunch of kids wanting to swear online but why do we have an admin/FM who doesn't know how to access admincp to set up wildcards in the filter
