I have to agree with Saurav's point of view here.
Yes he was polite but auto response emails are too but they lack a human element that is now missing from Habbox Forum in some areas . You say this is a fansite and not a multi national company the problem is that it acts like one(MNC) has an almost mechanical, robotic, lifeless atmosphere now whereas under the previous senior management it was lively,fun and okay sometimes a bit controversial but most of all a Community. Members were valued and not told basically that it is a privilege to belong to the forum when Habbox is the one that should feel that they are privileged to have such a loyal and long standing membership. Even with Joshuar and Nvrspk4 aboard nothing will change as they are not in overall charge.

I think that the problem is that users lose sight of the fact that this is not a customer-is-right sort of thing, although we do follow that model, because we do what we do because we love it, and we do it for you as much as anything else. But these are volunteer jobs. I have lost many many friends from Habbox due to them simply not being able to deal with the abuse they recieve from members. I don't see why the minute someone gets an infraction they feel the need to go up in arms, or create a fuss. If its unfair, there's a venue for that. If there's someone who has been unfair to you, or has misconducted themselves, there's a place for that (AKA my inbox). We will make sure you are happy, but we can't exactly create a great environment while members are constantly at each others, and our throats.
And I generalized there a little, because there are loads of wonderful people on the forum. I'd even go so far as to say that the nasty people are in the minority. But there are still a fair few nasty people on the forums, or troublemakers, or arrogant people, etc. etc. Its one thing to voice your opinion. Its another thing to use it to silence or hurt another. That, IMO, is just mean and bullying.
