Surely though if it's ugly , look at current design we got that blooming great epic christmas tree, somehow make it so it's hidden behind something or mostly hidden, aslong as the staff know where it is even ocd people don't have to notice it. And personally I don't even find it that ugly ;p

I'm certain we were going back to the other design with the petals and throne sofa's? if we are then this would definitely make the room look ugly. I don't see what's wrong with staff just going through the normal staff entrance, it takes a very small amount of time and it's secure enough. If there are already staff moving bars to get in that way then they should get a warning or something along those lines, no staff should be moving furniture in the first place unless it's for a good reason.
It's also going to be hard to hide something that's huge and light blue.
I do think this is a really cool idea and should be implemented if possible because why not?
However I do agree with the notion that if staff members cannot even see the significance of being behind the bar, and if they cannot be bothered to use the staff entrance to go behind the bar that there is a serious problem and that we need to ask those staff members whether they want to be here or not.
I think this is a good idea so all staff can get in using the main room, no harm in this.
I'd just like to add, if you were to do it would be an idea buying the group gate for HxHD but make a homeroom a different room. This would mean that you could buy the guild gate for this group, but place it in the HxHD. It would also mean that they wouldn't be able to eject or drop furni into HxHD.
You'd also not be able to give others admin rights in the group, as I know with admin you can just remove people from the group which could cause trouble in the dept.

I think it's a good idea because that is what the whole point of the gate is. Also you don't have to set the help desk as the group homeroom because any guild gate can be used. I think this would be much more efficient and up to date, the thing is, it's so easy to moderate the group now because anyone who you make an admin can accept into the group and give/take admin rights so yeh. I know it's a bit tall (I think there should be a smaller one as well) but it's not so bad that it ruins the whole room imo.
Anyway it's up to the management at the end of the day but I think in the next seasonal update, it would be good and simpler.

yeh and lets hope they don't go back to the default layout thats been copied from years ago
tons of new furni now no reason not to make a new room, instead of putting absolutely no thought/imagination into it and copying previous one imho
