If you know your mum would keep it quiet and you can trust her. when you sitting down chatting with her. Maybe tell her.


I am in a simular situation. My dad absolutly hates gay people and i am bisexual so i am in a weird situation. I haven't told anyone that im bisexual but the probably first person would either be my mates or my mother.

If I were you, I would wait until you feel the time is right. There are multiple things you can do...

• Get a friend to talk to her! However, I would leave this to the last, as she might feel that you don't trust her by telling somebody else first.
• Tell another member of the family. Grandmas are great to talk to, or even auntys. My aunty rocks... ;)
• Don't tell her. Simple, don't tell her until you are older... however the longer you leave it the harder I think you'll find it.
• Email here, or write a letter explaining everything. Letters are a great way to express you're feelings, and it doesn't put you on the spot, so you don't go red, get nervous or anything else when telling them. Leave the letter on the kitchen worktop maybe, and make sure you're out when she finds it! And if you don't want to talk about it to her, maybe say that in the letter. Just tell her that you want her to know, and you don't wanna talk about it.
• Drop Hints. Sometimes, dropping hints is the easiest option.
• Do what Ant said. :p
• Do what Sam did. :p

o basically she was just like.. oh, okay then. whatever floats your boat. its a bit annoying when I have people over to sleep though, cos now she has to check up on me now and again when I have guys over to sleep & not just girls cos thinks i'm just gonna **** them.

funny really.. lol

& yuh, letters are great. spesh when you want to go to a party and they wont let you so you write a 'running away' letter. tell them you love them but cant live with them, you're gonna be safe so don't worry, etc... then just come back once the partys over :)
