How do you tell your Mum..

maybe just leave her little hints? though i think it would be best telling her straight. just sit her down, & just say something like 'mum, im gay'. that what i did with my mum (well, i said 'mum, im like james' [my sisters gay best mate] & she was totally fine with it). if shes a bit iffy when you first tell her, she'll soon come to sense & get used to it. just tell her when you feel ready [:

If I were you, I would wait until you feel the time is right. There are multiple things you can do...

• Get a friend to talk to her! However, I would leave this to the last, as she might feel that you don't trust her by telling somebody else first.
• Tell another member of the family. Grandmas are great to talk to, or even auntys. My aunty rocks...
• Don't tell her. Simple, don't tell her until you are older... however the longer you leave it the harder I think you'll find it.
• Email here, or write a letter explaining everything. Letters are a great way to express you're feelings, and it doesn't put you on the spot, so you don't go red, get nervous or anything else when telling them. Leave the letter on the kitchen worktop maybe, and make sure you're out when she finds it! And if you don't want to talk about it to her, maybe say that in the letter. Just tell her that you want her to know, and you don't wanna talk about it.
• Drop Hints. Sometimes, dropping hints is the easiest option.
• Do what Ant said. :p
• Do what Sam did. :p
