I used to have something like that.
I couldn't sleep for nearly a month beacause of it. When I was 8, I heard this tapping noise on my door and then this face proper staring at me in a gobby way like she's knocking on the door on purpose. For some reason is seriously wound me up.
spam is a delicious tinned chunk of processed meat

Tell you're Mum what you've posted here and go to see a doctor. No one on this forum are Doctors so no one can tell you why your are having these Hallucinations. I use to have them when I was around 4 I kept seeing penguins talking to me. Turns out I had Pneumonia. If you have had these 6 years ago and now they are starting up again I would say it's not down to Illness I would say it's something to do with your brain. Perhaps it's a psychological Issue and I would advise you to get it checked out.
This sounds pretty serious, so i'd advise you see a doctor right away.
The closest i've got to a hallucination is occasional instant flashes of light at night, normally occurring more often the more tired I am.
This has happened to me before. I usually see my fears: dogs trying to attack me or a snake things like that etc. It still happens but it's not as bad as yours. I suggest try and face your fears or something, but even then it might not help so get professional help :)
OMG! i was in class and i had a freak out coz i thouhgt i saw a rat again, so i end up getting sent to a counsler. thought was bit over reacted but i did and she said have something bothering me phycolicacly and she thinks it might be a fears.
so yh the car one, she said it is most likly from when i watched my dog get run over by a car and the rats one is i have been scared ever since one bit me, so she said really i just need to get over fears and i shud be fine :P
Definitely something to see a doctor about if they're frequent, as it doesn't sound like something that's happening just when you're tired.
