Just wish I had Windows 7 32-bit.
I found if I overclocked my RAM by 1Mhz, yes, just one, It would push my score from 5.6 to 5.9 :P
Hiro, I can get you a serial for windows 7 ultimate 32 bit. I have recently applied for a MSDN account. When i get it i will sell the serial for £3.00.

Yeah, however if I got a better HDD it would be 6.9.
Either way, still a good system.
Same here but mine's split. I have 1tb. I'm re-doing it soon anyway, getting Vista and not 7.
Not really, no.
You fancy getting Windows 7 x64 to work through bootcamp like?
What's the difference between Vista and 7 x64 to make it more difficult? I'm pretty sure that Windows 7 has more drivers included.

Getting there (:
Rcently got a new PC, so if I've posted any previous specs then here are the new ones:
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz - 7.3
Memory (RAM) 6.00 GB - 7.5
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT - 6.9
Gaming graphics 3307 MB Total available graphics memory - 6.9
Primary hard disk 822GB Free (920GB Total) - 5.9
Sounds a bit strange to me too. I swear i5 is dual channel and not triple channel.
I can't remember if you need all the same sized sticks for dual channel to work.
When I opened it up I saw 3 RAM sticks, so I assume 3 x 2GB? I'm recycling my old PC so will probably end up with 8 GB. The GPU is my old one too, it came with an Nvidia 220 which I think someone was looking into somewhere on the forums?
That would mean it's not running in dual channel, crippling your bandwidth.
So what's a good course of action? Just chucking in another 2GB stick or removing one? These i Core processors confuse the hell out of me, they're not as straight forward as the Quad Core Processors or Dual Core, seeing as most i5 processors seem to have 2 cores but are designed to hyper-thread or something (I feel asleep finding out about it) :P
The best thing to do would to add another 2GB stick for 8GB. It will then be all running in full dual channel. Probably best to get the same brand and model since the P55 platforms are very sensitive to memory voltages which may vary from brand to brand or model to model.
Whyere did you get the PC from?
As far as I'm aware it should be running one dual channel and one standalone.
But if you're doing 6GB in a not tripple channel system the way to do it is 2 x 2GB and 2 x 1GB as you should get two dual channels.
The best way to sort it would be to buy to follow what Stephen said ^^^.

Changelog:
- New motherboard (GIGABYTE EP45-UD3LR from GIGABYTE EP31-DS3L(fried it lol))
- New RAM (Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800MHz 4x1GB from Crucial 667MHz 4x1GB)
Found it on HPs website and fell in love with it :P It's getting very difficult to find decent pre-made computers nowadays since laptops and netbooks took off :/ Ebuyer, Amazon and Play lacked any decent computers.
I've bought an extra 2GB, my old PC had 2x1GB and were completely different. The only downside is the RAM in this new PC is Kingston, and Kingston seem to lack a huge range of RAM :/
Case: Zalman Z7 Plus
PSU: Be Quiet! Pure Power 530w
CPU: Athlon II X2 250 (stock cooler and clocks atm)
Mobo: ASUS M4A77TD Pro
RAM: 2Gb Corsair DDR3 Value (will treat myself to a set of Dominator/HyperX/Ballistix eventually)
HDD: Samsung SpinPoint F3 500Gb
GPU: Sapphire HD 4670
Monitor: 17" ProView (****)
Running W7 Ultimate 32-bit (I'd have got 64-bit, but I didn't think and ordered the wrong one by accident (plus it was OEM), and couldn't be bothered to return it)
Does your Windows 7 have difficulties running Windows Live? When I had Windows 7 Professional 32-bit, Adobe Flash Player 10 would error when attempting to show any adverts in Windows Live, leading to it disconnecting. I think it causes the taskbar to have issues too. Something I haven't noticed in 64-bit :/
