It was on the news earlier, especially the one in Devon as that's closest to me, we have good medicine to cure it anyway so I don't see why everyones so excited about it, it's like foot and mouth all over again.
Everyones making such a pig issue out of it.
people dont believe it because we've been scare mongered into thinking there was going to be a pandemic numerous times before. just this decade with sars and bird flu.
i think its ridiculous that TENS OF THOUSANDS of people die from the regular flu every year in industrialized countries yet we cause great concern over what is only a potential threat. thats like driving with a flat tire but being worried about running out of gas. if swine flu started killing as many people as the normal flu does every year, people would be freaking the **** out.
btw their disease rating system is as arbitrary and useless as the terrorist threat rating system.
Aha, except the drugs have already been made and are being stockpiled. But that was my first thought =[
And I'd like so see what measures will be taken. I mean I work in a supermarket, I must be in contact with hundreds of people a shift, even if I'm not affected I'd be able to pass it on to a good thousand or so people in one weekend. Good times.
level 5 or no level 5
its still the same
im srry but this virus is just as dangerous on level 6 or level 1
its the same virus so you cant really base your opinions on how dangerous it is on the fact that WHO raised the level up
