It worked. The problem with a lot of operating systems today is there all little changes, design and stuff. There's some nice features but a lot are available with other programs - Lots of programs are still made xp compatible which is why i stayed with it for so long and if my disc hadn't broke may still have had it (got 7 when I was a student so I got it cheap). Obviously windows 7 is young so I don't want them to just ignore it but I don't find windows 8 has any big things feature wise that I can't do on 7
