We have enough anti-virals, which just about destroy the virus, in the UK to help 35 million people. That's around half of the population of the UK. It's obvious we'll end up giving some up to other countries though.
I can see how it could turn into a Level 6 disease, but not coming at us. I think the UK is possibly the most well-prepared country in the world at the moment, and we're gonna ride this thing out.
The Americas may take most of the outbreak. Europe will go mostly unaffected and the Asians are so hot, they'll just snap their fingers and it'll disappear.

thats kinda a ridiculous thing to be so positive of, to be honest.
as other people said before, no one outside of mexico have died other than one boy who was from mexico. and we should know better than anyone that mexico isnt exactly the richest and most medically advanced country in the world.
and like i said before, a few dozen people is nothing compared to the tens of thousands of people who die from the ordinary flu every year.
At least the media have calmed down a bit now from all the hype.

its not that it isnt cause for concern, but people going around saying its going to kill millions are just making matters worse. we need to act rationally.
Unlucky. Well here it's still on the news, but it wasn't the main headline on ITV or BBC and it isn't taking up half the news program any more. (watch my jinx it)
