Pictures of ourselves for our Avatars...

I personally wouldn't but I believe a lot of the forum would want to, so therefore I say for all members, what harm could it possibly do :)

No - Pictures should not be allowed for any members. It just looks weird. Why has my forum suddenly gone really big?

Personally I think it should be allowed. If a user wants to use themself for their avatar then i don't see a problem with it. If they don't then they don't have to.

yeah, people should be allowed to but i don't think many people would do it.

should have done a option asking how many will actually post their own pic.

What about 20 year olds posing like fools? If this came into effect and I did at some point feel like changing my avatar to a picture of myself, I'd certainly be more likely to do so with a ****zy pic than one I actually thought was good

Despite plenty of people arguing to the contrary, I'd agree with this point. I've seen it before in the past, if not here then on other forums, where people assume that those who don't show themselves when "everyone" else does must have something to hide. I'll admit quite gladly to having such thoughts myself before, simply because I'm just nice like that
