Default Pictures of ourselves for our Avatars...

Could you also take the opportunity of voting here in a poll created by the Forum Manager. Thanks.

This should be allowed for adult (over 18) members only.

I don't see what a man has to fear from having a picture on a forum.

Edit: I don't seem to be able to create a poll, can a mod do it for me?

What would be the point of limiting it to adults on a Habbo forum where the main demographic ranges from 14-17.

I'm not a fan of avatars of users, I often think it looks quite messy on other forums.

However I may consider this if enough people want it, but last time a poll was created the main answer was no, so when this is discussed here we shall see where we can go

It was aimed at adults because I thought children posting photos of themselves was prohibited by Habbo itself.

The Habbo way actually states that we must allow users to post a picture of themselves, so I think that would clear that up

How would we be able to verify who is over 18 etc? I just don't think it would work. I don't really have a strong opinion on it either way, but as Oli said it can make the forum look kinda messy I guess. I don't see how the age thing comes into it though really, and would be unfair to single a particular age range out to be allowed to do one thing.

I have added a poll anyway to see what others think. As I said in the feedback forum I think the time has come to let members have them if they want. Times have changed and there are pictures allowed everywhere else on the forum now. It is a muliple choice poll and the results are hidden.

So if you're a habbo fansite, why are you denying us the chance to use photos of ourselves as avatars?

Also, how the hell would it be "messy"? It's the same as having a picture of a celeb in your avatar!

    Thank you Catzsy.

no options to not allow it? thats ******ed

In the poll, whats the diff between:

    # No - Pictures should not be allowed for any members
    # No - Not even if you are 18

    technically the same thing.
