Apple TV
Price drop, nothing else. Other than HBO (which will probably be locked down to USA only), nothing else to look forward to on Apple TV.
MacBook Pro
There's two types of people... those that accept change in technology and those that don't. Gartner Research has proven that as time is progressing, and things are moving to Cloud-based computing, there is less need for external devices. How? Let's look at the general devices used by Computer Users...
External Monitor - This is the only reason you'd need a cable. However time can change this. If the Apple TV can project the Mac onto a TV / Screen, surely that means technology isn't far away from being able to project computers to the monitor directly through similar technologies as the AppleTV and AirPlay.
Keyboard / Mouse - These days, you can get Bluetooth keyboards and mice. Bluetooth means not only no cables, but also no required 'receiver', merely a computer with Bluetooth capabilities.
Printers - These days most of the printers are WiFi Printers, only cable needed, is a power cable to the printer... no cables between computers and printer.
So do I see Apple being able to sell these Macs... definitely.
Do I understand why Apple chose to remove all ports except Headphones and USB-C? Yes particularly with the way technology is changing.
My only concern is that you have to buy the $90 (or whatever the price is) adapter to have different ports from the USB-C such as using my Old 64GB USB Thumbdrive etc.
Apple Watch
My favourite part of the night... Definitely looking to get myself one of them, that's for sure. However, I'll have to save up for it! lol.
